I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “Get Woke, Go Broke.” In the curious case of Coca-Cola, going woke may be the single biggest branding mistake in the history of marketing.
In late February a whistleblower came forth with screenshots, posted on YouTube, of slides from Coke’s internal ‘diversity training’ course urging its employees to quote, “Be less white.”
And by ‘less white’ they mean subservient. They don’t mean be more sensitive.
When this happened, I immediately said to myself, “Scratch ever buying another Coke product off my list.” Not a moment’s angst or energy went into it.
“Be less white?”
“Drink no Coke.”
Why? Because choosing not to buy a Coke on the rare occasion I buy a soda anymore is an easy one. Sugar (or aspartame) and water in and of itself isn’t anything to get excited about, it’s the association of Coca-Cola with a past positive experience that is.
And they just told me I’m a bad person because of the heritage of my birth.

Correct: We need legislation banning all soft drinks.
This is an easy one. They make 100% non essential products.
Dear Coca-Cola: Please suck less.
Sugar water tastes quite similar in my opinion.
For it to truly make a difference, turn around and walk out if they do, do not buy anything at all from them. Go somewhere else or live without it. Very few have the will power and resolve to sacrifice a luxury even one time to make a serious difference.

There are several lesser known brands that taste just as good as coke, and cost way less too.

Stupid. All they gotta do is make the product and sell it. Being social justice warriors is not part of the business our shouldn’t be.
It’s the HFCS that’s bad. Real sugar is fine.
If I were on the board of RC Cola, I’d know that this is the chance of a lifetime.
Coca-Cola is hiding the truth:

I would die of thirst before drinking another can or bottle of Woke-a-Cola.
Minute Maid OJ is about the only one that I care about, though I do like Mexican Coke.
Boycott all Woke-A Cola products. If a friend offers you one, tell him, no thanks and, if that person isn’t a raving leftists, tell him why.
If Woke-A Cola is fine with dead people and illegal aliens voting, they shouldn’t get our money. And neither should Will Smith.

To flip your argument around, that is why big business does things like this. It’s free advertisement.
Coke thinks they are on the winning side and that whatever damage they do, it will be offset by a greater gain.
Have not for 30 yrs...of more.
FWIW-
Store brand or what is termed private labels are made by Coke and/or Pepsi. Same product but sold cheaper and called by their store brand name.
