ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Some pharmaceutical companies are pushing to make the COVID-19 vaccine eligible for kids between ages 12 and 15.
“I think vaccinating children will give parents an added level of security to kind of start moving back towards normal,” said Dr. Jennifer Nayak, associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC).
Two physicians at the University of Rochester Medical Center are backing the data released, as Pfizer looks for the FDA to grant emergency use authorization for children.
“We don’t want them to skip steps, nobody does, we want them to go through the process, the FDA to go through the process. And we’re hopeful, optimistic that it will be approved for children 12 and up,” said Dr. Mary Caserta, a professor of pediatrics and physician at URMC. “I think all of pediatrics agrees this is a good thing to bring to vaccines into children, because we need to protect children as well as adults from COVID and we need to protect all of our communities.”
One parent Spectrum News talked to is still waiting things out and seeing how the vaccine responds to different people. Blaster Riggins added that he’s not against the vaccine, but is a little hesitant about it.
“I would definitely take it first to see how my body reacts to it and see what the side effects are with me, then advise him,” said Riggins.
In addition to taking the vaccine first, the father said he would talk to a doctor first about his son getting the vaccine. As of now, the biggest concern for Riggings are the complications some people are having from the vaccine.
“The general concerns are the different complications that people are having, and that’s really the only concern for me. If there were zero complications, then I’d be like ‘oh, let’s get it today,’” said Riggins.
Physicians at URMC are recommending parents to talk their child’s pediatrician about the vaccine when the time comes.
“Every parent should be thinking about this, should be talking to their doctor about what they should do and asking the question about what they can do to protect their children,” Nayak said.
Pfizer says preliminary results shows their vaccine has a 100% efficacy against the virus for children between the age of 12 and 15.

Out of 550,000 claimed COVID deaths, less than 1,000 were among those under 18, and just 1 under 12.
I have discouraged my children, a 25 year old son and a 21 year old daughter, not to get the vaccine.
I read that the vaccine can mess with the reproductive system. I told them,someday you’ll want children. And you’re young enough to be pretty safe from Covid.

Or you can *not* inject children 12 to 15 with an experimental vaccine and statistically 100% of them will not die of Covid.
If anything, the vaccine may diminish a human’s innate antiviral response making them more susceptible to diseases in the future. It’s like sticking a perfectly healthy and able person in a wheel chair. After awhile, they won’t be able to walk.
The only people who have been having problems have been the immune-suppressed and the elderly, who are also immune-suppressed.
Children are by and large NOT immune-suppressed. So yeah, they would have 100% efficiency, because their immune's systems are intact.
Why give someone with an intact immune system a gene therapy designed to mess with the immune system?
I have read studies where scientists have admitted that when they go after one gene and remove it or turn it off, they end up messing up other genes they had no idea were connected to that first gene.
Out of their freaking minds. This insanity must stop.
Child abuse. Kids rarely get it, and even more rarely are harmed by it. Pointless. Just mo money to the pharmas, and more control by the Control Freaks.

None are approved even for adults.
It’d be difficult to make an argument to use Emergency Use Authorization for children given how few are affected and that it is not approved.
I saw some information on the study. They tested a small number of children. With the level of complication & deaths we have been seeing the number tested would be expected not to have any serious complications. Very different when millions of healthy kids, at a very low level of danger from the virus start dying or having serious complications. Maybe only a small % of kids but that doesn’t matter when it’s your child.
Don’t forget to add in the HPV vax and puberty blockers...

My kids are not getting a experimental vaccine. Besides, we’re all evidence to date, kids have a little risk. When I last looked the to date deaths of people under 18 was 184 out of over 56.6 million students.

Last year, the Chinese government ordered all citizens to download an app to their cell phones. The app ostensibly stops the spread of COVID by regulating where people can go. The color green gives a person access to all areas of society. Yellow allows individuals to leave their home but limits travel or attendance at public venues. Red means the person MUST stay home—or else.
As the weeks wore on, China added more qualifications and conditions to its COVID app, including vaccination status. But even more disturbing is what else China is now tracking. Now the Chinese COVID app collects and tracks contacts, individual movements and everything that happens on their phones—and it even harvests data on frequent associates and regular contacts.
To get an idea of just how invasive the China COVID app is, consider this: If a Chinese citizen is in debt, his or her phone will broadcast that fact to all other phones in the vicinity every time that person goes out in public.
And when the Chinese government doesn’t want a person to move around, they simply switch that person’s app color to red. That citizen is then no longer allowed to enter any public place, as the mobile app is checked at the door of every store, building or restaurant. Red restricts citizens to their homes, whether they have COVID or not.
What ostensibly began to control the spread of COVID is now being used to suppress the people. And Biden wants to bring this liberty-killing travesty here!
Despite White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s denials, we have a copy of Biden’s vaccine plan PowerPoint (available on our website). And there is no question the Biden administration intends to make digital “health and vaccine” passports compulsory. Some tyranny-minded governors in several states are following suit.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who sent tens of thousands of the elderly to their deaths by putting COVID patients into nursing homes, launched his COVID control app just last week. Cuomo is attempting to use the app, called “Excelsior,” to prevent people from entering public places and events ... just like China.
New Yorkers who have not yet fled the state for freer shores are now “allowed” to attend “theaters, major stadiums and arenas, wedding receptions, catered events and other events,” according to a state-issued press release, IF their vaccine passport shows they have had the shot.
Our government officials are not God. We WILL NOT let them destroy America’s precious liberty.
