Speeding?
Officer, I intended to hit the brake and not the gas pedal.
Intoxicated?
I intended to drink water but instead I drank beer.

Definitely a female cop who pulled the trigger.

I meant to pick up my beer, but instead grabbed an axe and chopped my family to death. Simple mistake.

Moral of the story: Don’t resist arrest because the arresting officer may be an affirmative action hire who can’t tell the difference between a firearm and a taser which might make you assume room temperature.

Not saying this was justified, at all, but when you teach people to fight with cops and resist lawful arrest, bad things are going to happen to you.
So, it looks like a female officer.
I read that she was black, though I don't know and it doesn't matter
Things are about to go nuclear sporty.
My dentist asked me what we're supposed to do about a stolen election and now America circling the toilet bowl.
I said "Buy canned food".

Poor training? Poor practice? Affirmative hire? Should be fired, yes. Likely should be charged with manslaughter and let the courts sort it out.
And taser and fleeing car? How does that work?

A taser against a moving vehicle? Hmmm, that explanation defies logic.

New training for police traffic stop:
Step one: Ask the driver to remove and hand you the car keys. I understand that if his wife is in the passenger seat with her own key and it is a pushbutton starter, this won’t help, but I have a feeling it would have saved this guy’s life.
But when you try to run from police, you put your life in their hands. And they don’t want you running people down with your car.
But I’d have said I was going for my tazer too. Actually, no. This is what I would have said:

Nothing.

Total. BS. A taser and a gun shoot different enough to know the difference. This is a childish liar who thinks she is fooling people.

Something that jumped out at me about the George "Pink" Floyd shooting was that one of the cops involved in the incident was a
36 year-old rookie.
It wasn't like this is a woman or minority who was hired to fill a "diversity" quota. He's a WHITE MALE.
This tells me that many of these urban police departments are scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to hiring, and that many of the cops they hire are marginal people who would otherwise be managing a McDonald's restaurant or working in an Amazon warehouse.

Police these days are too overloaded with gear. Their belt is something Batman would be proud of. In a stressful situation, I could see them fumbling for something off of their belt and picking the wrong thing -- aside from the fact you can't run well with a 30 lb. load on your hips, and you'll probably end up with back problems the rest of your life...

Wait. Don’t two protected classes cancel each other out?

Why does it take so long for cops to handcuff people? The longer it takes, the more dangerous it becomes for both parties
