So what you think Brazil should do?
What is their vaccine roll out like?
Where do these new variants come from?
Damn. That is awful.
I hope they blame China. We should all be blaming China.
Really? Leaving people alone looks like genocide to you?
Do you have ANY idea how utterly IGNORANT AND STUPID your statement looks to Jews, Ukrainians and Cambodians?
Ignorant and ill-informed are the NICEST way I can describe your statement.
FREEDOM of choice. Your teachers are utter failures, and your ability to make rational and intelligent decisions is in doubt due to your inability to actually THINK!
How many of them got the vaccine?
Sounds like to me they are trying to force out the conservative President
The globalists are trying to get rid of the Brazilian leader. He is one of a few leaders who stand in their way. This is funny business
# he has called Covid "just a little flu"
# rejected a nationwide lockdown, saying such measures only made the poor poorer
# called state governors and mayors who imposed lockdown "tyrants"
# cast doubts on the efficacy and safety of jabs and said he wouldn't get vaccinated
# joked the Pfizer jab may "turn people into crocodiles" dismissed opportunities to purchase millions of vaccine doses
# told people to "stop whining" about the situation
He continues to oppose lockdowns, but his government has now stepped up its drive to vaccinate the country's population of more than 200 million people. Brazil has approved the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine
A quick look at the statistics indicates Brazils deaths per 100K population is actually below the USA’s. Their case fatality is just slightly higher, probably given slightly lower standards of medical care. They are definitely in a 2nd wave, merely behind the 2nd wave that occurred in USA and other places
Its a tough political decision, but they should do nothing, except trying to implement best practices in treating Covid cases and protecting the elderly. The trend will peak and decline soon.
Biden will put them on those 21,000 mph aircraft he talked about and very quickly fly them to all points USA.
I’ve always wondered what a health care collapse looks like. Do hospitals just implode on themselves?
“People dying as they await care”...you mean like Canada and Great Britain?
This reads like fear porn from a journ-o-lista seeking to pressure Brazil into going into lockdown.
When will the Democrats be calling for humanitarian aid so tens of thousands of infected Brazilians can the brought to the United States for treatment?
I recently mentioned that Brazil’s estimated population was 210,147,125 in 2019. Much of that population is also densely concentrated in a few small areas. It’s a rough situation with respect to epidemics, and it’s always been that way in many of the countries very near the Equator in spite of more than a hundred years of efforts of many philanthropists. It appears that it has much to do with physical brain differences and other differences that make cultures difficult to change.
I don’t trust how any nation, including ours, counts COVID19 cases/deaths.
In January of this year the US had a daily death count in the high 3000s to low 4000s for the entire month.

“The official saw Brazil as a ‘hospitable place for Chinese settlement’ (ibid.). Similar views were held by Kang Youwei, a leading reformist thinker of the late Qing. Kang envisioned the possibility of the Chinese building ‘a new China in Brazil’ (p. 47). Other favourable remarks were expressed by Chinese diplomats of the late Qing and early Republican periods, which reveal a clear attention to Japanese settlement in Brazil as a good model to emulate (pp. 47–8)”
In other news, blowing up the covid propagandists talking points...
“The effectiveness rate of a coronavirus vaccine from Sinovac, a Chinese developer, at preventing symptomatic infections has been found to be as low as 50.4% by researchers in Brazil.”
