Yahoo Sports Nearly half of American sports fans changed viewing habits because of social justice Jay Busbee Jay Busbee Mon, March 29, 2021, 3:26 PM·3 min read In the wake of last summer’s social justice protests, which consumed sports for much of the second half of 2020, nearly half of all Americans changed their sports viewing habits, according to a new YouGov / Yahoo News poll. As athletes and leagues embraced a new, progressive strategy aimed at amplifying messages of social justice and political advocacy, some Americans began watching more sports, but about three times as many watched less.

Of those who watch sports on TV, about 11 percent said they now watch more as a result of political and social messaging. However, 34.5 percent, more than one-third, said they are watching less. The vast majority, roughly 56.3 percent, said they watch about the same amount regardless of political or social messaging.

And the majority of women are drivers whiles are in the passenger seat. Subliminal ads.

And the only people who have some sort of lingering body odor or unkempt rooms are college-aged white males.

And the object of fascination is ... well, it isn’t the white guy.

TV advertising is one of the leading proponents of Soviet-style brainwashing and propaganda.

The same is probably true of big name conglomerates like coke and yet they still don't get it.

They suck up to the tyranny of a clear minority out of fear of losing some of their polished SJW image instead of trying to appeal to their markets.

Just stupid.

I guess they think they’re Google or Apple. It’s extremely easy to quit spectator sports immediately. Think of how many precious hours of your life you get back. There is no penalty, only upside.

Watch MLB, NFL, NBA espouse pro-Trump sentiments and watch that 56.3 rabidly change their “don’t care” tone.

Sometimes the over-representation of blacks in TV ads reaches absurd proportions. It's not uncommon for most or all of the people in three or four consecutive ads to be black, and few ads don't have at least one. The pandering is getting embarrassing.

Also, women seem to be overrepresented. Often you see a mother, or two women, and their children in a large, upscale house, with not a man in sight.

It’s amazing how many CEOs of major corporations - and commissioners of major sports organizations - come across as mindless, spineless, bobbleheads who will uncritically do anything the left demands.

It's amazing how quickly the marketing departments went woke. I wonder how they will handle the boycotts. Everyone knows it's easier to maintain a client than attract a new one, and they are losing clients.

No doubt there are some who will not stop watching.

Any man that cannot stop watching a big money sports franchise that actively mocks and derides them probably has some kind of sadomasochistic, sexual attraction to the players. To those men I say just watch gay porn.

Ads began subliminally. I recall one beer ad with multiple people partying in an apartment. A white woman took a black guy by the hand and went into the bedroom. Next their orgasmic cheers drowned the music and chatter in the next room to the shocked look of the party goers.

Additionally, on what you commented, the female away on a business trip calling from a hotel back home to her stay-at-home loser husband and the image was a messy kitchen or something similar to show his incompetence as a dad....that was oft-played, too. Takes a liberal mind to try to promote such garbage.

The over-representation of female voices is noticeable, too.
