re: “But “pushing against air’ is how JET engines work.”
I think AgentJayZ on YT would disagree with you; he’s the jet engine guy who goes into the theory and practicality of jet engines.
Besides, ALL you’ve got to work with at sea level is ~ 14.7 pounds per sq inch ...

Yeah... but we live in a world where people think that cutting off their beeber’s will turn them into women and that women are actually men, even though there is no science behind it.

re: “The EM Drive is a relatively simple device: it’s an empty cavity that isn’t perfectly symmetrical.
According to proponents of the EM Drive, by bouncing electromagnetic radiation within the cavity, the tapering in the cavity result in a net thrust of the engine, despite nothing leaking from the drive. “
“Radiation Pressure” from an antenna is one thing, what they’re trying is another ...

If I had his teacher at that age, I may as well not have been in science class either.
I was taught by the Sisters of Perpetual Scowling.

It’d work just fine if the Democrats would just repeal the Laws of Thermodynamics ...

Obama most likely contracted the development of this device to his Muslim buddies. After all, if they dupe a billion people to believe that a piece of a meteor is god, then they could dupe the rest of the world to believe they could generate thrust by bouncing EM waves inside a fancy tube.

In space, there’s nothing to push against. Correct me if I’m wrong. You're wrong. Rocket propellant pushes against the rocket. The rocket pushes against the propellant.

Pretty sure PCSSD is a thing. It's related to PTSD.
Post Catholic School Stress Disorder.
I shouldn't have to say this, but for those who are too humorless to conclude this on your own, I in no way intend to minimize those who have PTSD or their sacrifice if it occurred while serving.
