Kavanaugh (Supremes) already Votes with the Dems.
Yep, just as I said earlier. You can’t actually understand the case. You just know what some equally moronic reporter said in a headline.
Let’s look at the one of those two cases that “gave a liberal win.”

At issue was whether SHOOTING someone constitutes a seizure if they temporarily elude capture after the shooting.
Roberts, Kavanaugh, Breyer, Kagan and Sotomayor said YES. Any application of physical force is a seizure.
Gorsuch, Thomas and Alito said “No” you have to actually take possession of the person before they are seized.
SO which is the “liberal” view here?

Every Democrat nominee ends up voting 100% leftist, and 50% of the Republican nominees end up voting with then. Our current constitutional system is based on a judicial oligarchy. It has failed and it needs to be replaced.

John Bolton. Levin recommended him to Trump. Crushed him and called him out afterwards but it was too late.
Just a theory: I believe that he married a woman from a prominent British family (he studied in the UK). In these British circles it is probably still unacceptable to be Catholic because Catholics are those lowly Irishmen. Gorsuch probably wasn’t a strong Catholic so he didn’t object to converting.
I think that Justice Gorsuch is intellectually originalist (his defense of capital punishment in one Supreme Court case was brilliant and fully originalist), but he isn’t culturally conservative.

I gained a lot of info from FR on Kavanaugh and I was wondering at the time why the Left freaked out so much during his Senate confirmation when he’s on their side. Perhaps a mystery that will never be solved.

Kavanaugh makes it a point to hire more woman law clerks than anyone else. He wants to burnish his wokeness. That was a warning sign to me.

Now, Kavanaugh is Mini-Roberts and a court that has Six nominated by Republicans routinely gives the Progressives Victories.
There’s something going on that each Republican turns, and the Dems vote strictly by ideology.

In church this Easter morning, soon after I took my seat, an elderly couple (man and woman) came in and took the pew right in front of me. Man had a walker with him. I did a double take; the walker had the "Equality" sticker on it (dark blue with two horizontal yellow bars). I prayed to Jesus that it would be covered up FAST as that had no place in a Christian church. Thanks be to God, the woman took off her jacket and covered it over, there it remained for the rest of the service.
