Tower on Sunset was not a reality at that time.
IIRC, Tower opened around 70/71 - a couple of years after the White Album was released.
I bought my copy at a small shop on Sunset that “hung” the albums on wallboard hanger racks.
Hollywood was quite a culture shock for a couple of kids from Dayton, OH....who eventually returned home after 5 years before Hollyweird evolved into its current cesspool.
