"I didn’t write the loopholes you exploit, @amazon – your armies of lawyers and lobbyists did. But you bet I’ll fight to make you pay your fair share. And fight your union-busting. And fight to break up Big Tech so you’re not powerful enough to heckle senators with snotty tweets."

Remember when snotty tweets were protected speech? Now it’s not even up for discussion.

As I predicted, the criminals are turning on each other.
HAHAHAHAHA
Pocahontas doesn’t like receiving snotty tweets.
HAHAHAHAHA
When did she leave the Village People, I heard she was the Indian...
I hope she shatters Amazon, but they are much more powerful than her.
Elizabeth Warren is a bad joke with no understanding of economics. Just like breaking up Alcoa did little more than raise the price of products that used aluminum to every US customer. Break up Amazon and you’ll do the same thing. After all, how did Amazon get so big? It did so by providing customers what they wanted at a fairly low price. That’s a bad thing because...??
Sounds like she's damning herself. She's a friggin' Senator and admits she doesn't write the laws.
National Geographic says all Indians have snotty noses.
Precisely the reason for the First Amendment. If you won't censor the people I want you to then I'll censor you.
Amazon used predatory capitalism to get to where they are. I mean that seriously. They were able to raise untold billions of dollars from the capital markets and use that cash to undercut their competitors. I am pretty much a free marketeer but in some instances regulators have to step in. Lots of precedent including Standard Oil, Paramount Pictures (splitting movie studies from movie theaters), even Microsoft and their browser.
Using these standards, Amazon should be broken up probably into nearly a dozen different entities. So should Facebook and Google, and Apple should also be broken at a minimum to separate their app store from their hardware.
On the question of Elizabeth Warren, she is as big a phony as one can get. She campaigned for POTUS on breaking up big tech but when push comes to shove does she do anything to work with the GOP or the DOJ for that matter?
“snotty tweets” = free speech, honey
Is this the Babylon Bee? It is difficult to properly satirize Elizabeth Warren, but she becomes her own self-parody. She is the queen of snotty assertions, and Amazon is the acme of crony capitalism, which actually makes labor unions unnecessary, as management both bundles contributions and directly supports the most left-leaning of candidates.
Pocahonky speak wih forked tongue.
>>Precisely the reason for the First Amendment. If you won’t censor the people I want you to then I’ll censor you.<<
If you want to not only get snotty tweets from amazon, fb, twitter and the rest, post something subversive like “People should be responsible for their own actions and lives. Welfare should be a temporary handout to help people in trouble from events outside their control, not a lifestyle.”
Nothing wrong with Amazon’s business per se. The internet made e-shopping platforms like theirs inevitable. And I’ve profited nicely owning AMZN stock. I do have a problem, though, with Amazon’s “woke corporate culture” which have reared its ugly head in myriad ways: the de-platforming of Parler to stifle conservative free speech; removal of certain conservative films from their streaming offerings; removal of certain contrarian books on homosexuality at the behest of the LGBT bullies; etc. I don’t have a problem with them for the reasons that Liz Warren has a problem with them, but my gut feeling is that Liz would (unintentionally) be doing conservatives a favor if she succeeded in breaking up Amazon and their ilk.
Who do these Politicians think they are ?
