Jessica Walter, a fan-favorite actress who starred in TV series “Arrested Development” and “Archer,” has died. She was 80.
Walter died on Wednesday in her home in New York. Walter’s publicist confirmed her passing.
Brooke Bowman, Walter’s daughter who is a senior vice president of drama programming at Fox Entertainment, released a statement to Deadline: “It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of my beloved mom Jessica. A working actor for over six decades, her greatest pleasure was bringing joy to others through her storytelling both on screen and off. While her legacy will live on through her body of work, she will also be remembered by many for her wit, class and overall joie de vivre.”

As I recall, a quick shot of Jessica in the buff in PMFM left little doubt that she was worthy of Clint or any other guy.

If you haven’t seen “The Beguiled,” rent that one too. Unlike “Misty,” the women prevail over Clint in that one. He should have cast Jessica in “The Beguiled!”

She was so good in Archer. Loved Jessica and love Archer.

I wonder how thw Archer producers will handle this?
Maybe they’ll have Lana take over and Sterling reorts to her. It would continue the spoiled-brat\momma’s boy relationship with his srroagaote Mother - Lana. Have him constantly battling in a passive-aggresive way that he should be in charge.

She looks like a nice lady in the picture but i can only ever remember her for the Clint Eastwood movie “Play Misty for Me” scary is a word.
RIP. She was sexy and classy, something few can can pull off these days.

Too bad my stalker isn’t anywhere near as sexy as Jessica.
That scene instantly unleashes fear in every sensible man. When they toss out that infamous “fear of commitment” line at men, this is exactly what the man is afraid of.
