Can someone give me a re-cap of when the “anti-Asian” thing started to get in the news? I know I saw stories posted here starting about a week ago, but it seems to have taken on a whole life of its own.

Is this a planted thing by liberals to make everyone hate everyone else, or to get Aisans to feel like they can join the “protected class” movement too, or what? I just don’t get it, and don’t know how or why it started to pop up in the news so much recently.
