$5.70 for one coffee drink?
Starbucks has been robbing you a little at a time, for a long time, lady.
Buy a cappuchino machine at Wal-mart and make your own cup of coffee for about $1.50
Ca$h is King.
Enjoy it while you can....
Yep. Going to Starbucks was her first mistake.
It's still cheaper than Starbucks.
Maybe if she returns the car that she bought from the employee, she can get that charge off her credit card.
For her, a better option might simply be coffee-black, rather than with sugar and cream.
Starbucks is slipping. This is an obvious cashier error.
It should have been resolved within a few working days.
This is bad customer service, plain and simple.
My conclusion: The management at that particular Starbucks is dragging his or her feet for some reason.
I’ve done business with USAA for over 25 years. I’ve always found they bend over backwards to do the right thing for their customers. And, it looks like is the case in this instance as well. Problem appears to be with Starbucks. They can easily solve this by retracting the charge.
I called the manager, and he said eventually the charge would fall of. I said no, he would get it off immediately.
He later called me complaining to me how long it took him. Like it was my fault?
I actually had to wait five days for it to fall off. Never went there again, even though the food was good.
That’s whatcha get for patronizing Starbux...
Actually her first mistake was using USAA bank. I use a local Credit Union and any problems get fixed very quickly. These online institutions don’t have to worry about customers camping in the lobby.
This is the planet Algon, fifth world in the system of Aldebaran, the Red Giant in the constellation of Sagittarius. Here an ordinary cup of drinking chocolate costs four million pounds, an immersion heater for the hot-water tank costs over six billion pounds. and a pair of split-crotch panties would be almost unobtainable.
NEVER use a Debit Card to pay for anything, period.
Only use Cash, a Credit Card or some Sucker to pay for your stuff. Leftists, Politicians and Illegal Invaders prefer having the Taxpayers pay for all their stuff.
Well if anyone goes to home cheapo or lowelife, they can pay a ton of money for lumber.
40 bucks a pop for 4X8 half inch OSB.
My goodness, the correct charge was a complete ripoff to begin with. $5.70 for a coffee? At least she noticed this time. Nothing that 3 weeks of arguing with the bank won’t solve.
“”And it doesn’t even matter whose fault it is anymore. I just want it rectified. I want it made right,” Angello says.”
Yes it does matter whose fault it is. Mistakes are made and mistakes are corrected.
If this story is true is true then it should have been rectified via a single visit back to the Starbucks. Something is not right with the story.
Not correcting an over-charge when it’s obviously an error is theft.
I’d press criminal charges against the store manager and sue the Starbucks corporation for damages to my “emotional state” or some such to the point that they hurt financially.
My guess is she is not a victim, but actually drank $5,705.70 in Starbucks. Those mochas add up.
This thread is funny, in that, lots of people are critizing this woman going to Starbucks in the first place.
What does the business she went to, have to do with the fact, that they overcharged her?
Of course she could make a cup of coffee at home for a fraction of the cost of going to Starbucks. But what does that have to do with the story?
The barista says “Thank you!”.
