PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh police said a 12-year-old boy was stabbed inside a McDonald’s in Downtown Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon.
Police said they arrested 51-year-old Charles Edward Turner in connection with the stabbing. He’s facing several charges, including criminal attempted homicide.
The child was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A criminal complaint states that a doctor upgraded his condition to stable. It also said a black and yellow box cutter was recovered from the scene and a piece of razor blade that broke off the box cutter was recovered where the stabbing happened.
“It’s really quite a tragic thing on a beautiful Saturday downtown,” said Cara Cruz, she’s the Deputy Public Information Officer for the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department.
Police said the 12-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck inside McDonald’s on Liberty Avenue and Stanwix Street just after 2:00 p.m. Saturday. Cruz said the child was standing in line with his family when the incident happened.
“He was with his family, he was standing in line, they had just zipped in for one quick thing,” Cruz said.
People walking in the busy downtown area were shocked and scared when they heard the news.
“I think it’s terrible that something like that can happen,” said Anthony Benson, who just moved to Pittsburgh from Philadelphia.

Yes, indeed. The mentally ill account for a majority of the homeless in So. Cal. 30 years ago those people would have been locked up under medical supervision but the state decided it was cheaper to close down most of the “insane asylums” and release the nuts back on the streets. Just provide them with free medication and food stamps and let the chips fall where they may.

Since the article made no mention of Donald Trumnp, white supremacy, neo-nazi fascism, or the race of the perpetrator or victim, we can safely assume that the perpetrator was black and the victim was white.

I was in Walmart yesterday and there was a mixed-race kid behind me just absolutely screaming, while the white mother did ... nothing. I didn't say anything, but I thought to myself that without any discipline whatsoever that kid will likely end up in prison or dead by the time he's 25.

I just don't believe that.. I don't think what's happening in our nation has much to do with black or white or much of anything else along those lines.. Thou it is true that blacks commit far more crimes on whites, then whites on blacks..
What's happening to us now is all about the left, not the black.. The commies are the ones driving the unrest and some of the blacks are getting caught up in the fervor...
I see no cure.. Probably a quarter to third of our government now holds no allegiance to our Constitution.. So, law and order, justice and peace are going to be rare commodities indeed in the foreseeable future... :(
