Before he got on a helicopter yesterday, Joe Biden was asked if he would be going to the border himself at any point to see the problems that are going on there.
In the video below, a reporter asks, “Do you have any plans to travel to the southern border?” Biden says, “Not at the moment.” He says one more thing and then walks toward his plane.
But what sparked a lot of comment on social media and why the video has over a million views isn’t so much that, although once again it suggests the border isn’t a priority for him, just as Kamala Harris’ answer about the border indicated the same thing.
It’s that some thought Joe Biden’s right hand went through the fuzzy gray mic, therefore suggesting there was some green screen or something going on. The perspective is a little freaky if you watch it again, watch his right hand and the mic. That had a lot of folks spinning conspiracies last night. Some suggested maybe Biden was a hologram or superimposed on a green screen.
But if you look at other angles as well as the Getty pictures, you can see the problem comes from the perspective of the camera angle and Biden leaning in toward the cameras and mics, that, no, his hand isn’t going through the mic.

For what reason?
Why zoom? To get closer without having to move forward. Why compress? To save storage space on the camera.

On another thread, it was posited that the mics were added to a real event, in order to throw a debunkable “fake fake” to the deplorables.
The idea is we go crazy saying “GREEN SCREEN!” and then other camera angles prove it was an actual event.
Anyway, it’s a theory.
I see, so there was no nefarious motive. Got it.
Reviewing again, might be that the mic cover is so fluffy that his hand “came thru” thanks to video compression artifacts.
the “side by side comparison” explanation doesn’t show the same video+audio segment as the original “hand in front” segment. WTF. fake explanations and RedState is balky about allowing me to comment on it too.

Yeh like Joe seems comfy in a lightweight suit but every other person in the video has a winter coat on. 😆
Why would they and how could they do that. Why would they stage such events. To make it look like he is making a public appearance. Why would they need to do that. He hid in his basement much of the campaign so they could hide him in the WH for months. I know they were making a bog deal of no press conference for the last 50+ days. Why not just get a look a like.
The end is near for old Joe. He likely has a very hard time getting from place to place.

But why not film it in such a way that this crap doesn't appear? Don't they have the budget and staff for better production values than this? I'm comparing it with past press conferences of Biden's (yeah when he was in better shape) and they looked fine, no weird effects at all.
Either they were being unprofessional and sloppy, or they deliberately did this as a form of info-chaff, look, a squirrel.
Wonderful theory. except you can't find this layered affect anyplace else other then MRI brain scans which they intentionally do by modifying the program.

Facts are: BidAn has never set foot on AF1 (see MonkeyWerx, previously mentioned here). BidAn having a heated verbal fight with Putin and Russia. Austin has told North Korea that U.S. forces are "Ready to fight tonight". BidAn gaffes like this mic thing; BidAn's faux inauguration; and on and on... two whole months of this stuff now.
I think its about to boil over...
