Apparently Del Bigtree who reviews portions of an interview with Vanden Bossche is anti-vax, but the subject of this video is the pro-vaccine industry expert/developer urging the halt of the administration of the Covid-19 vaccines.

I’ve attached the slides of the keynote that I held yesterday at the Vaccine Summit in Ohio (“Why should
current Covid-19 vaccines not be used for mass vaccination during a pandemic?”). Please do have a look
at them. The bottom-line is that I don’t see how mass vaccination campaigns would not lead to a
disastrous aggravation of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, no one else seems to realize; instead,
vaccinologists, clinicians and scientists are merely focusing on the (positive) short-term results and
impact at an individual level. Nobody seems to be looking at the consequences and risk at a human
population level (which, according to my understanding, will become manifest quite soon).
Why is nobody worried about ‘immune escape’ whereas Covid-19 has already escaped people’s innate
immunity as reflected by multiple emerging, much more infectious, viral variants (most likely due to the
global implementation of infection prevention measures)? Vaccine deployment in the ongoing mass
immunization campaigns are highly likely to further enhance (adaptive) immune escape as none of the
current vaccines will prevent replication/ transmission of viral variants. The more we use these vaccines
for immunizing people in the midst of a pandemic, the more infectious the virus will become. With
increasing infectiousness comes an increased likelihood of viral resistance to the vaccines. It's not exactly
rocket science, it’s a basic principle taught in a student’s first vaccinology class: One shouldn’t use a
prophylactic vaccine in populations exposed to high infectious pressure (which is now certainly the case
as multiple highly infectious variants are currently circulating in many parts of the world). To fully escape
selective immune pressure exerted by vaccinal antibodies, Covid-19, a highly mutable virus, only needs
to add another few mutations in its receptor-binding domain …
I am beyond worried about the disastrous impact this would have on our human ‘race’. Not only would
people lose vaccine-mediated protection but also their precious, variant-nonspecific (!), innate immunity
will be gone (this is because vaccinal antibodies outcompete natural antibodies for binding to Covid-19,
even when their affinity for the viral variant is relatively low).
I’ve alerted all responsible health and regulatory authorities, including WHO, CDC, FDA etc. and have
asked to consider my concern and to immediately open the discussion about the disastrous
consequences any further immune escape of Covid-19 would have.
I know, of course, that current mass vaccination campaigns enjoy vigorous and world-wide support from
a multitude of different parties/ stakeholders. However, unless I am proven wrong, this cannot be an
excuse for ignoring that mankind may currently be transforming a quite harmless virus into an
uncontrollable monster. I’ve never been that serious about a statement I made

My spouse, a PhD who works on clinical trials, was not all that impressed until I provided a more complete resume...You seemed to question a DVM, but I have been told it has been more difficult to get in to Vet school than Med school.

Vanden Bossche studied at Ghent University for his M.D. in Veterinary Medicine from 1980 to 1983. He then obtained his Postdoctoral training in Equine Medicine and Surgery at the Free University of Berlin (1984-1987).
From 1990, Vanden Bossche underwent a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Virology at James A. Baker Institute for Animal Health, Cornell University in New York.
He was board certified in Veterinary Virology in 1990. Two years later he was Board certified in Veterinary Microbiology and Animal Hygiene. What boards? Well likely in Europe.
Some of the other universities where Geert Vanden Bossche has worked as an academic include the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin, the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, the REGA Institute, KU Leuven in Belgium.
Open letter? Not written by him? Uh I think it was...Yes, he tweeted it but he wrote it too...(search is your friend), and I think it was on Linked-in, which you, having such credentials, can probably verify.
The schedule for the summit you provided was labeled tentative, so perhaps he changed the subject? Don’t know...
So you have PhD and DVM, post-doc, 30 published papers, worked for several pharma companies? Good to know, I will be looking to your posts for expertise on vaccines and future COVID threads. You did not list your similar credentials BTW.
So I don’t think he is spouting “crackpot drivel” I don’t know if he is right (and I hope he is not), I don’t agree with everything he says—he is very pro these vaccines. However, he is stepping out of comfort zone to make these statements, and so I admire him for that.

I do not question DVM’s. In fact one of the most brilliant scientists I worked with ever was a DVM PhD.
My comment was about being board certified which normally refers to MD’s.

Just because this guy claims to be pro-vaccine does not make it so. It’s one of the oldest tricks in the book, claim to be in favor of something while actively opposing it. They are always preying on children. Vanden Bossche makes the point that children’s immune systems function differently from those of adults and he praises their immune systems as quite robust and flexible. There’s no need to experiment on children. SICK

They have not be FDA approved. That is a false statement. If people would actually read the paperwork you are supposed to be given at vaccination time, it clearly states these ARE NOT FDA approved vaccines.

It has been stated many times by the “experts” that the vaccine does not prevent infection, it minimizes symptoms.
This is my personal biggest concern between taking the vaccine or not. We are creating a ‘race’ of asymptomatic people.
Second, as of this morning I am reading there is a variant in France(?) that is already able to avoid the PCR tests. There’s a cluster of 79 or so people identified so far.
The more and more I learn, the more convinced I am that the world would have been far better off letting this virus run it’s course. Everything we’ve done so far has made matters much worse.
