...The US was particularly hard hit: The average temperature in the continental U.S. last month was 30.6 degrees F, or 3.2 degrees below the 20th century average.

That's the 19th coldest February in the 127 years the agency has kept records, and the coldest February since 1989....

Prediction is that the La Nina will return early next fall after a moderation in the ocean this summer.

No El Nino is in site.

Does this mean that we’ll have a cooler and less humid Summer in DC?

I don’t mind the usual - I was born here. But my Yankee husband doesn’t like DC Summers.

Let me guess - we aren't cooling the world. We're just moving all the heat to the deep Pacific waters until we bring Cthulhu to the surface. You do not want to see a lobster red Cthulhu.

RE: Last month the Earth had its coldest February in seven years, thanks to the effect of La Niña.

It’s still Climate Change. When the weather was very hot, it is Climate Change, now that the weather is very cold, it’s Climate Change.

Everything can be explained by the term “Climate Change”.

It explains everything. Which means it explains nothing.

Why did those climate experts and scientist change the term from, “Global warming” to “climate change”? I know the answer and will give an award the first person who answers correctly.
