The teenage son of a multi-millionaire shopping company boss has been arrested in the death of a Los Angeles woman in a high-speed Lamborghini crash, DailyMail.com has learned.
Brendan Khuri, 17, was behind the wheel of a Lamborghini SUV that allegedly was street racing with an Audi when it plowed into Monique Munoz's car last month, police said.

Would it surprise you to learn that there used to be Lamborghini tractors?

The way this kid was indulged, I don’t think he drinks Coors.
Of course the dad bought him an SUV Lamborghini - to keep his kid safe in case of an accident - never thinking about what an SUV will do to a Honda civic in a high speed crash.
Aww, that's nice. Somebody raised that Audi right.

R.I.P.
Fricken horrible, the dad better hope I’m not on the jury (and I won’t be, being in Texas). Normally I’d want to hear both sides before passing judgment on something like this, but this is the British Media reporting on something in the US, so it’s very likely accurate.
Ah, someone else remembers the LM002!
Dads crazy
And I gave my little brother my 74 Targa and my oldest son had a 600hp f250
But there are limits
My son and I hanging out...
Pompous ignoramous.
The yearly insurance premium for a 17 year old would probably approach the cost of the car. I know it does for sport motorcycles. I imagine sports cars like this would be similar.
Looks like the Nakatomi Plaza building in the background...
From teh article:
[S]treet racing had become a problem in LA since the coronavirus lockdown began last year.
“It’s been particularly egregious during covid, especially at the beginning when people were locked down and staying home. People had open roads, particularly surface streets, that they were basically able to do whatever speed they wanted on due to the lack of traffic. So we have seen an increase in reckless driving.”
Looks like AMC/Rambler’s attempt at a humvee
I guess we might want to ask whether a parent who provides something like this car to his kid should also be criminally liable for what happens next. While I don’t want new laws, something like that might make the parent think a bit more. I really have trouble seeing why this woman needed to die at the hands of a psycho father.
Oooo, a PC problem for sure, where's the nearest White Christian Male we can scapegoat?
My son got a 24 year old Chevy pickup truck when he turned 16...He painted it with a tobacco sprayer...
Somebody told him that his paint had a “unique” texture to it...
He told the guy it was a “custom paintjob”...ROFL
Porsche made one too
I know an exotics repairs shop out river road has one
So a whole bunch of teens can suicide together rather than just 2?
Silly of me to think that they only made race/ sports cars. Every day, learn something new.
