My phone flashed a news bulletin yesterday from Yahoo saying IVERMECTIN DOES NOT WORK for Covid. They are panicking about it. The Vet that comes to treat my daughter’s goats said that a lot of animal meds that have always been OTC are going prescription soon. I don’t know if Ivermectin is one of them or not but I bought a tube last time I was in the tractor supply store.

There was a sharp Freeper who explained to me the other day why these bastards are banning the cheap therapeutics. The over arching reason, of course, is greed, but the one I didn't realize was that in order to get an emergency use/experimental exception, the application must establish that there is no alternative effective treatment available for the illness. My animals have taken Ivermectin forever without issues. One reason I know it’s safe is (laughing) a co-worker called out sick one morning because he accidently took his dog’s heartworm pill instead of his vitamin. He came in later after calling his doctor, and the Vet, to ask what to do. Both told him it would be fine since it was only Ivermectin and was safe for humans even if it was the dog variety. Every morning for a week the team barked at him when he came to the morning meeting. I was the team leader and just had to let it play itself out. He was a good sport.

Had cheap effective ivermectin been approved, expensive vaccines would have been disallowed, apparently.

The problem with most Internet videos is their creators have no concept of editing and love to hear themselves talk. The result is these rambling hour+ long videos that never seem to get to the point and as a result nobody will watch.

The presenter did mention she summarized her findings in a 3 minute video that was sent to the PM. Just present that and provide a pointer to the long-form version for those who are looking for a sleep-aid.
