So governments are eliminating many of their restrictions. Good for them...although they never should have been imposed in the first place.
Every business and organization has the right to continue these Coronavirus rules and restrictions, even though the government does not mandate them. And that is where we are at in Texas. Although some entities have eliminated the rules, most have retained them. I have hopeful that these rules will go away quickly but for now it is noteworthy that the organizations who removed the fewest rules are churches and schools.
I have no great answer to this problem of entities retaining these mandates even though they don’t have to. The only things that can be done that I can think of are: 1.switch to a different business 2.ignore the rules and challenge them to charge you with trespassing (they can’t charge us with anything else now) 3.pressure leaders of the business to remove the rules

Generally, if you don’t leave when asked, you’re trespassing.
Here’s a story I would not have believed if I didn’t hear it directly from the source. I had lunch with a friend who is a patrol supervisor for a large law-enforcement agency in Southern California yesterday. He said they have had three incidents of death, two suicides, and a motorcycle crash that the cause of death was listed as covid. The victims were positive for covid when they died He said he found out because the families came in angry at their agency for the listed cause of death. He admitted there might be more, but since other families didn’t complain, he can’t be sure.
The real problem is the paranoid Karens who are actually forcing businesses to do things like this. Most of the businesses, including their employees, would be perfectly happy to be fully open, no masks, etc. This is Florida with there is no statewide mandate, businesses can operate at 100%, and life could be normal. But the left doesn’t want this.
A lot of people watch too much Biden television and are in a state of panic, regardless of reality. And they are the ones who will go in and pitch a fit in a store if other customers are not wearing masks. Then they’ll go online and trash the business, or if it’s a chain, they’ll write to the company headquarters.
There’s a political aspect to this, because I have heard them complain about Republicans not wearing masks! They also hate DeSantis, of course.
The leftists and Democrats here will only give up their masks and imposing those masks on others when they are pried out of their cold dead hands...
I think the only way to resist is to have popular mask burning events the way they did in Idaho!

A private business can ask a customer to leave. If they don’t leave the charge is trespass.
I am all for mask-burning events, particularly if there are speakers there giving speeches against the plandemic, local bands, vendors who have been out of work all these months selling lemonade and funnel cakes and whatnot, burning of Karens in effigy, etc.
It could be real fun and cathartic.
When it comes to businesses and mask mandates, there may be times when it is not easy to avoid a particular chain that has something you need and that you cannot get at a small store or from the company’s website because some of these companies outsource to Amazon.
I would say go there prepared with flyers to pass out on the dangers of masks, the definition of fascism, an explanation of how the chain is supporting China by perpetuating the Covid hysteria, the customer service email addresses of the major chains in your area with mandates, and a sample email that says you will not forget which chains stood with America and which stood against it.
