Digital is much more easily intercepted. Analog is far more difficult. They intel crowd did go digital several decades ago. They just use encryption.

The internet was the installation of the final piece needed to spy on anyone at anytime and have real time intelligence.

Maybe not the final piece. How about a tracking device that the people carry voluntarily?

Ludwig von Mises:
There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as a result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved.

“Redstate Regional Bank” cannot work because it has to be interconnected to other banks and the fed. It can no longer operate as an island like in the 1800s through the early 1900s. There is no way to set up an independent, not-connected bank. Here is just one example of required interconnections:
The automated clearinghouse (ACH) system is a nationwide network through which depository institutions send each other batches of electronic credit and debit transfers. The direct deposit of payroll, social security benefits, and tax refunds are typical examples of ACH credit transfers. The direct debiting of mortgages and utility bills are typical examples of ACH debit transfers. While the ACH network was originally used to process mostly recurring payments, the network is today being used extensively to process one-time debit transfers, such as converted check payments and payments made over the telephone and Internet.

The Reserve Banks and Electronic Payments Network (EPN) are the two national ACH operators. As an ACH operator, the Reserve Banks receive files of ACH payments from originating depository financial institutions, edit and sort the payments, deliver the payments to receiving depository financial institutions, and settle the payments by crediting and debiting the depository financial institutions' settlement accounts. The Reserve Banks and EPN rely on each other to process interoperator ACH payments--that is, payments in which the originating depository financial institution and the receiving depository financial institution are served by different operators. These interoperator payments are settled by the Reserve Banks.

Then there is federal (FDIC) depositor insurance.

The only way out of what Mr. Bracken hypothesized is splitting the country up, i.e. , CW II. If the country holds, the Digital Tyranny will unfold as he has described.

You are correct regarding blue states vs red states. We have only to look at the past year and how people were affected in blue states regarding the COVID crisis. The large blue states are in ruins economically now. And the red states such as my state Tennessee and others, not so much. It will be the same with gun laws, and a myriad of other tyrannical laws. We in the red states will have ample warning, and time to prepare a defense against the tide. My two cents.

That is why you plan now. There are alternate systems at the local level. You can use laser communication systems that are extremely location specific. That means very hard to tap into. Combine that with a town supported militia, minutemen able to muster at a moment’s notice.

Isn’t that what this boils down to?

In theory, yes. But the bottom line is, who has the guy's back?

Where was the call to arms from all the tough talking patriots when Randy Weaver's family was killed or the Koresh compound destroyed by the government?

Weren't those events worthy of "the shot heard around the world"?

Those may have served as wake-up calls for many. The Bundy stand-off actually got an armed response, and the feds backed down before shots were fired.

Clearly, a lot of factors are in play.

You make a excellent point. Every legal purchase I’ve made through a gun shop, online store, regardless of a pistol or long gun required paper work filled out. Where that goes, who knows?

Form 4473 are "supposed" to be kept on file by the FFL holder you purchase from. They are not "supposed" to be sent anywhere.

In Texas there is no gun registration, so no one can prove that I didn't already sell the guns I bought yesterday, so I don't see this being a foolproof strategy.

Yes, something we use every day and don’t even think about the possible implications.

FANTASTIC IDEA!
yes, collection of fed income taxes done via states. Money withheld if fed gov tries to proceed.

10th amendment in action.

It is possible to fight this via the states. Are our state legislatures up to the challenge?

Much better than individuals having to stand up on their own to this tyranny, although it may come to that. But much preferred to use the solution our wise founding fathers incorporated into the constitution.

What would you have had them do? Very remote location in the dead of winter.

I think that what I wrote is what Team Tyranny will try to do.

Their intel and psyops pros and social media experts will assure them that it will work.

That X% of Americans will comply, and the rest can be dealt with by harsher methods.

The Japanese tried to knock the USA out of the Pacific at Pearl Harbor.

It did not end well for them in August of 1945.

In the “digital gulag” gun confiscation sc
heme, a major weakness will be the collection points.
According to the plan I outlined, most normie gun owners will be intimidated into going to a certain place at a certain time to turn in their now-outlawed weapons, or face “the digital gulag.”

But intimidation can work in multiple directions.

First of all, these collection points will rely on local LE for security. “Night letters” and other forms of clandestine messages will warn these local LEOs that if they take part, in any way, in these gun collection/confiscation plans, then they will be declaring themselves to be traitors, communists, domestic enemies of the constitution, etc. That pension ain’t going to be worth it if you are dead, or your house is burned to the ground.

And these illegal firearm collection points will, depending on the region, become flash points. There is a reason long range riflery is one of the hottest parts of the shooting community in recent years. If paid hourly govt. employees, (local SWAT, with their .gov issued .308 bolt rifles), want to stand security as “counter-snipers” around these collection points, I think they are going to find out why so many patriots have invested time and money in becoming thousand-yard-plus shooters.

The entire scheme will probably collapse, or turn into a shooting CW, because nobody will be willing to man these collection points. And ordinary Americans will receive the clandestine jungle-drums message that participating in this collection scheme is collaborating with communist traitors who are destroying the last vestiges of the Constitution.

As always, I hope that the boys and girls down in the fusion centers are paying attention, and passing information up the line.

If the Japanese high command had a crystal ball to foresee Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and war crimes trials ending in hangings, maybe they might not have tried Pearl Harbor in the first place. That’s really why I write these things. It’s for the boys and girls down in the fusion centers, and for their bosses.

But they won’t pay attention, they will probably have to learn the hard way.

Ask Hideki Tojo what happened after Nanking, Pearl Harbor, and Hiroshima.

I’ll bet he thought Pearl Harbor was a great plan. Just like Team Tyranny is thinking about the Digital Gulag.

I hope the boys and girls down in the fusion centers are focused on reality, and not on “trans rights” and other woke cultural Marxist insanity. Tojo had a good plan too. Ask him how it worked out.

I totally agree with your entire comments. One thing I do hope happens is that should kinetics happen that Americans step into their legislatures and court houses and sheriff offices and stop the nonsense. Physically eject the idiots right out into the streets. New elections.
