PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) - Protests in the Pearl District and a number of shootings throughout Portland kept police busy all weekend - and frustrating residents throughout the city.
The shootings, which left 2 people dead, happened at reasonably the same time as the destructive demonstration in the Pearl District that ostensibly was a response to the Biden immigration policies, police brutality and racism.
There were also fights between protesters and onlookers Saturday night. Residents in the Pearl District said they are fed up with demonstrators vandalizing businesses and causing destruction.
“We want this stuff to stop. They don’t have the right to damage our property and scare people so they’re afraid,” said Pearl District resident Jane Orlowski. “We would like police here to be protecting our property.”
Orlowski said these protests have been going on for nearly a year “and we are so tired of it.”
“We don’t know why they’re in our neighborhood, what their point is. We see shops being boarded up again after they’ve just unboarded recently. And these small little businesses, they can’t afford this.”

Caring after the fact is like closing the barn door after the horse is gone. With just some minimal planning (e.g. leave cell at home, dress all in black and change after, wear mask, etc.) there is little chance of being caught.

Sorry for the residents but this is a byproduct of voting for DemoRats. Make changes or keep wallowing in the leftist tripe voted for. The leftards ruin everything. Every damn thing. Learn it or own it.

They voted for people who don’t believe in private property and who willingly allowed and supported the riots that destroyed private property. So they should stop complaining.
The typical leftard Rat is usually ok with property being destroyed for the cause and agenda however if it’s their own personal property involved then they do a 180 by raising a stink. The leftard Rat by far is the biggest hypocrite there is- bar none. They either deny it or are truly blind to it so that’s why a little pain is necessary to shake them up hopefully to reality.
So for over a year they sat silent while savages destroyed Portland and NOW they’re pissed off??

As a lifelong Oregonian, I strongly suspect vote fraud where the votes are counted. Portland supposedly voted 85% for Biden. I don't believe it. Oregon voted 66% against gay marriage.
I live in OR and most “blue” states are blue only because of election fraud. I posted an article detailing it, I’ll try to find. Any sanctuary states, states with moter voter laws, lots of mail in voting (OR is 100% mail in, for 20 yrs), and/or online registration, have stolen elections. And once demsheviks get in control of state, county and municipal election machinery, it’s over.
OR has all of the above.
