Over thirty House Democrats are asking President Biden to consider renouncing his authority to launch nuclear weapons.
In terms of alternatives, the two California Democrats suggested a number of options.
One would be to require that the vice president and speaker of the House of Representatives concur with the president’s decision to strike.
Another option would be requiring certifications from the secretary of defense that the strike order was valid, as well as the attorney general that it was legal.

Once Biden is defanged in this way, he will be wrapped in warm towels, and transported somewhere safe... away from all those White Supremes fans. Ain’t no mountain high enough... then maybe Nan will use her 25th Amendment powers to save Biden from domestic terrorists, by having him stuffed and mounted. Hmm...two of them cite Trump’s public feud with Kim as justification but it suddenly becomes an issue now? Nothing suspicious there. So uncle joe might mistake the nuclear codes for his bedtime and nap schedule and accidentally launch a nuclear strike against Alaska.

In case of conventional attack or nuclear attack (by the Soviet Union against NATO forces in Europe, or by China against Taiwan, or by Iran against Israel/UK/US/Europe, or North Korea against Korea-US forces) the military MUST HAVE the ability to respond immediately and effectively.
Delays (er, decisions) by committee WILL FAIL. HAVE ALWAYS FAILED.
You think Pelosi is capable of any more of a rational military response than AOC? Hell, Hillary (and the WH staff) had to drag Obama in off of the golf course to get “permission” to attack Bin Laden’s house in a single helicopter strike by one SEAL Team!
