Huh? So the Center with multiple radar tracking stations and operators couldn't see an object so close to an airline? What am I missing here? I have little knowledge of air control, but have seen in documentaries how they designate aircraft on their screens. Their systems are so advanced as to wave off potential collisions when aircraft get to close.

When flying a B727 20 years ago from MIA to LGA at FL 330 went through a cluster of white lights flashed all around the aircraft and Center said it was a rocket that fell out of orbit and had broken up on reentry we barely missed being hit.
I’m positive that’s what the crew saw. Seems there was a bulletin issued. Surprised NASA hasn’t cleared that up since they track all space junk. Maybe NASA has but our very truthful news media needs news to sell since President Trump isn’t around.

It sounds like a missile to me.
Note that both China and Russia are supposedly ahead of us on hyperfast missile technology.
Why should anyone doubt the government/military are testing these and do NOT want to acknowledge that?
In fact, from an OPSEC point of view, it makes sense to let people think it is aliens.
