Former President Donald Trump is no longer being represented by former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, the former president's office revealed on a day both men were sued by a House Democratic lawmaker under the Reconstruction-era Ku Klux Klan Act over the Capitol riot.
Giuliani led Trump's failed effort to overturn the election results in states Trump lost, and traveled the country to make the case for 'massive fraud' – traveling even after contracting COVID-19 following a visit to the White House.
He also led his own effort to dig up dirt on Joe Biden and his son Hunter in Ukraine.

Somehow, I doubt the two actions have anything to do with each other.

I don’t get it. I watched the videos and there were many people in the crowd who were Latin American and Asian and a few Blacks. So why are the Democrats turning this into a race issue? Are they trying to create another racial civil war? Are they that angry they lost the first one, that they want another one???
To: JennysCool
I agree. Since they are both defendants, that would be silly to have one defendant represent another.

Just what I was thinking. I expect Rudy is tired of all of the crap, just wants to retire and get out of the limelight. It probably has very little to do with DJT or the new lawsuits coming forward.

I didn’t know a congressman could sue a President. If that’s true, then a president should be able to sue congressmen....and women.
It would be great if he could get his hands on congressional papers prior to the “riot”

Actually, the two may have severed that relationship due to the lawsuit, but not to pit one against the other, but to provide maneuvering room for the two as defendants.
I am not a lawyer, though. I’m too logical - I’m an engineer!

Hmm Benny’s not a lawyer and I know he thinks he is just virtue signalling, but I wonder if he fully realizes that if he loses this case against Citizen Trump, then he is personally responsible for Trumps attorney fees ....

We haven’t seen the Democrats this angry since Lincoln freed their slaves.

Agreed, if your lawyer is sued or becomes a ‘witness’ to a case, you dont have much choice but to bring in another lawyer who is not entangled in the case.

It’s time to go offensive and start slamming Soetero, Hillary and every single senator and congressman on the left...well, it’s past time, Teflon non-stick; they own the courts.

Anti-Rudy noobs, don't even try this thread. Move on.
US SDNY Attorney (J.D., NYU, cum laude) under Reagan, where his legal acumen smashed the Five Families; also convicted Boesky and Milken; and #BackedTheBlue better than ANY US Mayor before or since:
- Most successful Mayor of NY in your lifetime (and ruined David Dinkins and Ruth "The Ugliest Woman on Earth" Messinger as national Demorat figures)
- Rejected Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal's $10M payment of Diya (piss be upon him) as compensation for 9/11 islime attacks
- Ran for President and would have been a damn sight better than Bobo or the Groper
- Built 2 multi-million businesses while beating prostate cancer
- Rudy has bird-dogged Hunter Biden harder than any other conservative; he was willing to take Hunter's hard drive copy from John Paul -- knowing the FBI and Congress had rejected it -- and has detailed the sordid details to the NY Post and Bannon's WarRoom
- Rudy stomped the rat's nest that is Ukraine, his decades-long work there was kryptonite that disabled Vindmann out of the gate
- Rudy has been the speartip of labeling Biden with the mark of Cain as a puppet-state, illegitimate, do-nothing figurehead.

Since both are being sued in the same in the same lawsuit, Giuliani can’t be his personal attorney......
