There are many medical reports from all over the world that ivermectin, a special drug for parasitic diseases discovered by Satoshi Omura, a special honorary professor at Kitasato University, is effective in treating and preventing the new coronavirus. There is even a view that it may be the trump card to end the corona pandemic. Japan, the "country of discovery" of ivermectin, should be more actively involved in determining the efficacy of this drug, determine the prescription (how to use the drug) ahead of the rest of the world, and promote the use of ivermectin as a corona treatment / preventive drug.
Amazing report from a group of US doctors
Dr. Pierre Cory, Chairman of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), testified at the US Senate Committee on Land Security and Government Issues on December 8, 2020. "Government agencies should immediately evaluate the effects of ivermectin and provide a prescription," he urged.
This group of doctors, mainly in the United States, has collected and analyzed information on clinical trials of ivermectin, which has been used all over the world since last spring , and published it on the Web . Dr. Cory's remarks on the committee were shocking. I will give only the results of clinical trials in which ivermectin was administered.
① Accelerate patient recovery and prevent deterioration of mild to moderate patients
② Accelerate inpatient recovery and avoid intensive care unit (ICU) admission and death
③ Reduce mortality rate of severely ill patients
④ Widely used by Ivermectin The mortality rate of corona-infected persons is extremely low in the affected areas.
And so on.
In addition, he said that the side effects of ivermectin, which was prescribed as an antiparasitic disease over the last 40 years, were extremely rare and mild, and the World Health Organization (WHO) added ivermectin to the "essential medicine list". He emphasized what he had put in. Then, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), etc. urgently confirmed the ivermectin clinical trial and called on doctors and medical institutions to issue prescribing guidelines.
The medical report of ivermectin compiled by Dr. Cory and others can be viewed from the treatise site.
Here, I will briefly introduce some of the highlighted reports.
"Effective" one after another from Egypt, Iraq, etc.
Table 1 outlines clinical trials evaluating the efficacy of ivermectin in inpatients. The first column shows the author of the study, the country and where the study is published. The Second column is the number of patients in the study. The third column is the dosage and frequency and the last column is the result of the study, Ivermectin vs. Control Group.
For example, in the first report by an Egyptian research group, 100 of 200 patients with moderate and severe illness were treated with ivermectin, and the remaining 100 were compared without administration. The ivermectin-treated group was the non-treated group. Compared to (control), it has a higher rate to prevent deterioration, and the mortality rate is 2% and 20%, which is a big difference.
Table 1 Clinical trials investigating the efficacy of ivermectin

In the second Iraqi case, 70 patients received the antibacterial agents ivermectin and doxycycline, compared to 70 patients who did not receive it, and the mortality rate of severe patients in the treatment group was zero, whereas it was not. The treatment group was 27.3%.
Looking at the third and subsequent reports from India, Bangladesh, the United States, etc., it is effective in shortening the length of hospital stay and reducing the mortality rate.
Ivermectin was developed as a preventive and therapeutic drug for river blindness (onchocerciasis) and lymphatic filariasis, which are prevalent in tropical regions, and is a drug distributed and popularized by WHO in countries and regions directly below the equator. Haiti distributes ivermectin to 1.2 million people annually to prevent lymphatic filariasis. And in Haiti, the number of people infected with the new coronavirus is reported to be extremely lower than in Brazil and the United States. In other words, it is suggested that ivermectin is effective as a preventive drug for the new corona. The same is true in African countries receiving ivermectin. Confirmed effectiveness at a conference convening experts from around the world
Many of the reports published by FLCCC are from developing countries. However, based on testimony in the US Parliament, Dr. Teresa Laurie, a consultant to the United Kingdom National Health Service (NHS) and WHO, reports on the treatment and prevention of ivermectin for the new corona around the world. Was collected and advanced statistical analysis (meta-analysis) was performed.
On January 13th, Dr. Laurie convened 20 international experts, including 13 clinicians, to hold an expert meeting, where the results of the meta-analysis were announced and discussed. The report has already been published . According to the report, the risk of death for those treated with the new corona in the hospital was 1.3% in the ivermectin-treated group, compared with 8.3% in the non-treated group. A meta-analysis showed that ivermectin with the new corona treatment reduced mortality by an average of 83% (somewhere between 67% and 92%) compared to no treatment.
The expert meeting concluded that it "strongly suggests a therapeutic effect" and recommended the worldwide and systematic dissemination of ivermectin.
On January 14, the day after the recommendation, NIH announced that it "neither recommends nor opposes the use of ivermectin" regarding the clinical application of ivermectin, expressing its neutral position. This is taken as the view that doctors in the field effectively allow ivermectin to be included in the treatment. This is because NIH positions it as "neither recommended nor opposed" for the currently widely used monoclonal antibodies and plasma of convalescent patients.Discovered by Dr. Omura and won the Nobel Prize

Dr. Satoshi Omura sitting in front of a model of ivermectin
Ivermectin is a widely used antiparasitic drug, primarily in low- and middle-income countries, and is a safe and effective drug that has already been administered to more than 3.7 billion people for decades. Originally extracted by Dr. Satoshi Omura, a special honorary professor at Kitasato University, as a compound produced by microorganisms in the soil around a golf course in Ito City, he researched with Dr. William Campbell of Merck, Inc. developed. The two received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2015 for this achievement.
Taking ivermectin for the prevention of parasitic diseases is extremely easy and inexpensive, as the tablets are simply swallowed with water once a year.
More in vitro and animal studies have also been reported to have antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. According to a survey by Kitasato University, 91 clinical trials of ivermectin for new coronavirus infections are currently registered in 27 countries (Table 2). Many report that ivermectin has an improving effect, and it is worth further verification in the future.
Kitasato University has been conducting clinical trials since last fall, but is suffering from labor shortages and lack of funds. A clinical trial is a measurement of efficacy according to strict medical regulations, and is a research site where objective conclusions can be drawn. But we must not forget that what is important now is the fight against the new Corona, the fight against time. Emergency response is required
Ivermectin has no patent rights and is free to manufacture. Its prescription has been established as a drug for the treatment and prevention of antiparasitic diseases, and there is no problem with its safety. However, in order to use it for the new corona, the effect on the new corona must be judged again. The challenge facing the medical community today is the evaluation of clinical trials of ivermectin for the new coronavirus infection that medical teams around the world have been working on. Is it really a medically valid result?
As mentioned earlier, Dr. Laurie of the United Kingdom, who meta-analyzed the clinical trial data available so far, highly evaluated it, and even stated that the pandemic defense drug was "just a stone's throw away."
However, it has not yet been established how to prescribe ivermectin to patients with new coronavirus infections. There are also issues such as what to do with the drug price and who can supply it and how to use it. These require efforts that go beyond the boundaries of pharmaceutical companies.
When the world is in a difficult situation with the new corona pandemic, it is expected that Japan, the "country of discovering ivermectin", will take the initiative in assessing its efficacy, and if it judges that it is effective, it will immediately give a prescription. Instead of waiting for the results of foreign countries, Japan should be the first in the world to finalize its prescription and promote the use of ivermectin as a corona treatment / preventive drug.

With a little research and applied math, one can determine the correct human dosage. It doesn’t take a M.D. or a Ph.D. to run the numbers.

Dang, and I thought it was a sure thing since almost no one on this site has claimed that....

There’s another drug out there that has been found to help treat COVID and docs have been testing it. It is a very common drug used for gout. Anyone whoever had gout has used it.
Google COVID and Colchicine

The government in this country will never permit a cure for the Wuhan virus. It’s proven to be way too politically useful.

—Does anyone have links to dosages/conversions?
1. The pills for human use? (Somectrol)
2. The Horse paste?
—Does anyone know if the Red States are more open to HCQ and Ivermectin treatments than the Blue?

US law would withdraw the emergency authorization for the vaccination if there is an existing treatment. Thus, the CDC is dragging it’s heals and stonewalling the use of this an HCQ. Too much money to be made on the vaccine.
Wow...Interesting.
Is this a theory, or fact?
Either way, it would explain a lot!

‘It would be like saying when in a war - let’s give our soldiers only this ONE type of weapon to fight the enemy.’
it would be kinda like a football coach telling his team not to take advantage of recently relaxed holding rules, while the other coach urged his team to use them to the max...
kinda like a presidential candidate urging his voters not to take advantage of relaxed rules regarding mail-in voting, while his opponent urged his to use them to the max...
who do you think is going to win...?

kinda like a presidential candidate urging his voters not to take advantage of relaxed rules regarding mail-in voting, while his opponent urged his to use them to the max... In President Trump's defense, the reasoning behind urging vote-in-person was because the postal service had already shown sign that it would make R ballots disappear. We didn't suspect the depths of chicanery involving the counting machines and software at the time. This election was unprecedented in the West. The fake ballots, the tossed Trump ballots, the rigged algorithms... sure you expect that in a banana republic or muzzy sh*thole, but here?

I am more angry about the open, illicit activity of the election officials ... keeping poll watchers away, covering the windows, bringing in ballots during the dead of night, running ballots through multiple times, and so on. These are things done in banana republics.
6 counties flipped 6 states which flipped the election. Doesn’t take massive fraud when so few can change so much.

Allow me to add some support for my claim that EUA (emergancy use authorization) is not authorized when there is a viable alternative treatment.
From the FDA page - https://www.fda.gov/regulatory-information/search-fda-guidance-documents/emergency-use-authorization-medical-products-and-related-authorities
"Section 564, as amended by PAHPRA (Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Reauthorization Act of 2013), permits the Commissioner to authorize the emergency use of an unapproved medical product or an unapproved use of an approved medical product for certain emergency circumstances (discussed in section III.A of this guidance) after the HHS Secretary has made a declaration of emergency or threat justifying emergency use. The Commissioner may issue an EUA to allow an MCM to be used in an emergency to diagnose, treat, or prevent serious or life-threatening diseases or conditions caused by a CBRN agent when there are no adequate, approved, and available alternatives. Section III of this guidance addresses EUAs"
