Why is the constant focus these days on “reducing anxiety”? Upbeat music gets you motivated, which helps you get work done. It seems Milennials and GenZ’ers just want to be “chill” all the time.

Wonder if they included classical music, especially the Romantic Period - Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach. Cures what ails you.

OMG no!
There’s a lot of eighties music, including the pop genre that repeats itself. Right off the top of my head, Phil Collin’s 80s pop phase was annoyingly repetitive and I can’t stand it. Elton John too. ugh!

OK, I’ll pull out some Roseanne Cash, Fun Boy Three, Waylon Jennings, Adam Ant, Blondie, Ronnie Milsap, The Cars and late Del Shannon (”Drop Down and Get Me” LP) before Lent starts.

80s music is perfectly fine if you came of age in the 80s. Me? I came of age in the 70s. So there is no better era of music than the 1970s.
It all depends on when you were born and when you grow up.

Because liberals suffer from continuous self-induced anxiety.

It’s the one genre that mrs riverdawg and I can listen to together on long road trips and both be perfectly happy. Sirius/XM 80s on 8.
