A restaurant in California, that refused to allow one of its employees to wear a Black Lives Matter mask during working hours, is now receiving death threats. The Girl and the Fig in Sonoma, California, was forced to close after receiving a barrage of death threats after a former waitress, Kimi Stout, complained about being refused a request to wear a BLM mask.

Because BLM wants you to know that black lives are the only ones that matter.
That would be a restaurant that I’d never become a patron of, if she wore it. Most businesses would be wise to keep all politics out the discussion and that includes the policy of canceling anyone.
Would there be an uproar if they didn’t allow employees to wear KKK masks?
BLM’s code is burn, loot and murder, what else can be expected from them?
“Since we have received Death Threats, that PROVE BLM is a Violent organization, we no longer feel safe having you as an employee.”

The crybullies think death threats are an appropriate reaction to a restaurant having a dress code for its employee. An employee thinks her personal virtue signalling is more important than her job, which had a dress code when she agreed to start working there.
Her delusional self importance is propped up by anonymous children on the internet who have absolutely no fear of being held accountable for their actions because they never have been held accountable for their actions and sincerely believe that threatening the lives of other humans is an appropriate response to news that a stranger they never met walked off a job rather than adhere to company policy.
This will not end on its own, adults have to step in and stop it. Not sure if any adults are in Sonoma county anymore by the looks of it though.
Sounds to me like this place was not very circumspect in who they hired.

Restaurant would have been better off seeing this coming, and having a firm policy of only allowing plain masks, with no design or logo.
Better yet, supplying staff with company masks with restaurant logo.

Employees, especially those who deal with the public, shouldn’t be advertising their political beliefs while at work. It can be detrimental to the company you work for, and the security of your job. Just like with the NFL, the job is not the place for employees to promote their political agendas. It’s not a part of the paycheck. If you let one do it, you have to let all do it, and that takes you down a slippery slope. If people want to kneel during the anthem, do it on your own time, not while you’re on the clock. Same thing with wearing political paraphernalia while at work. If your boss says no, respect the company you work for enough to comply. If you don’t want to, then find another job. Chances are, they won’t allow it either.
