SOURCE: Fox's CEO, Lachlan Murdoch, is considering suspending or firing @TuckerCarlson for insensitive reporting on new court documents that show George Floyd had a fatal level of fentanyl in his system when he died. (developing)
2/ Fox's Lachlan Murdoch heard about Tucker Carlson's 'attack' on George Floyd from Hillary Clinton's former spokesmen Jesse Lehrich who said, "Tucker Carlson smeared George Floyd tonight, claiming he 'almost certainly died of a drug overdose.' (cont)
3/ "...it sickens me that the Floyd family has to endure this depravity, and I hope they sue Tucker & FOX for $3B, which is apparently the only thing that changes their behavior."
Jesse Lehrich:-
Tucker Carlson smeared George Floyd tonight, claiming he 'almost certainly died of a drug overdose.'
it sickens me that the Floyd family has to endure this depravity, and I hope they sue Tucker & FOX for $3B, which is apparently the only thing that changes their behavior.
Nobody could actually believe that this would be the actual reason for firing their top-drawing star.
Fox was trying to get rid of Tucker since Election night. They will also move against Hannity and the FBN woman.
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. - Unkown........................
Good. Tucker can head on over to one of the conservative channels or go independent.
He can write his own ticket
Won’t notice.
Reporting the official finding of the Medical Examiner is now “unspeakable depravity”, worth a lawsuit. Kaching again.
Someone enlighten me, didn’t the official autopsy report state his cause of death WAS a drug overdose?
1-I'm sure he has invested wisely.
2-His audience and ratings will follow him.
OAN, here he comes!........................
Fox should fire Tucker. Then, OAN can hire him immediately, just like they have offered to hire Lou Dobbs
IIRC he was at lethal dose levels when he died according to the autopsy report. The knee to the neck certainly didn’t help matters
Yea, telling the uncomfortable truth is not a good reason to fire someone.
George Orwell.
he was foaming at the mouth. He had pulmonary edema. An opioid overdose causes pulmonary edema.
Also the knee on neck restraint was an MPD approved procedure even though it was quickly removed from the training manual.
Is it “insensitive” to mention that MLK Jr. died of a fatal dose of lead?
He’s about the only reason turn on that channel anymore.
Carlson may have slightly overstated the possibility that George Floyd died of a drug overdose, but it is a fact that the autopsy revealed that Floyd’s body contained a POTENTIALLY fatal amount of illegal drugs. If this slight overstatement can get you fired, almost all journalists would have to be fired if we applied the same standard.
