he was foaming at the mouth. He had pulmonary edema. An opioid overdose causes pulmonary edema.
Also the knee on neck restraint was an MPD approved procedure even though it was quickly removed from the training manual.
“why shouldn’t you be able to say that?”
It harms their narrative. The truth doesn’t matter anymore. It is all about the narrative.
Yes, it’s always amazed me when people, who have routinely and mercilessly insulted and maligned others, even their own family members, suddenly get all superstitious and mutter about ‘not speaking ill of the dead’ and somehow their dead relatives become saints who never did wrong.
This is just another control maneuver by the left.
Peach
Since when is reporting on a case speaking I’ll of the dead. He was presenting facts.
” And if it is true that he most likely died of a drug overdose...why shouldn’t you be able to say that?”
Because the Ministry of Truth does not allow it.
“I get the whole thing about not speaking ill of the dead.”
It is a TWO WAY STREET as far as I’m concerned. If the dead person isn’t trying to take away my freedom or destroy the country for my children, then yes, if I have nothing good to say, I’ll keep quiet. But if they are trying to destroy the country, then they are FAIR GAME.
As for George Floyd, it’s kind of a middle ground, but if his death is being exploited by his family and/or the Left, then it puts his reputation at risk, as I will ANSWER ATTACKS on what I believe and what I love.
No one gets a FREE PASS to destroy my life or destroy the country, and if people who otherwise did nothing to harm me get trampled due the actions of others, so be it.
“I get the whole thing about not speaking ill of the dead.”
Not when a lie about the dead is being used to bring down our republic.
What I am about to say may be unpopular, but it is true. Most major metro police departments train their officer to treat people with Naloxone if they show signs of Fentynal overdose. Even if the person seems dead but the body is warm, I was told that Chicago PD will give the shot. I was told that people have recovered and started breathing again almost instantly. I have no proof of that just what a cop told me. One major sign of Fentynal poisoning is asphyxiation. Put two and two together, they found fentynal on Floyd and he is choking. At a minimum the EMTs should have administered an antidote based on available information. If the MPD taught the knee on the neck restraint as claimed and did not provide their officers with a fentynal antidote, oops it is the MPDs fault the officers just followed established protocol. However, if officers were trained to use a fentynal antidote and did not when Floyd pleaded he could not breath there may be a case for negligence. If the MPD did not teach the knee restraint as protocol, that becomes a more serious charge. My point being I believe three of the four officers will get off. Chauvin will be accused of something so they can remove him legally from the department. I see at least three major lawsuits against the City.
If Chauivn was trained on using Naloxone and trained to recognized Fentynal poisoning and he failed to act according to that training and instead chose the restrain Floyd, I don't know what all that would mean under Minnesota law, but it does not equate to murder. All in all, I do not think Chauvin is a good guy, just a personal feeling. But, I do not think his actions were racist or murder.
