Just watched “The Man Who Would be King” yesterday. Unbelievably fantastic movie, solid work from Plummer in a small but important role.

Perhaps my favorite movie of all time. Sean Connery, Michael Caine and Christopher Plummer in a movie directed by John Houston based on a short story by Rudyard Kipling.
It would've been hard to screw up that recipe.

“Sound of Music” comes immediately to mind, but he was in a lot of amazing films.

He worked to the end. Maybe being in character made him feel more alive. Kept all his faculties too. as they say.

Not him singing and not him playing the guitar.
