Olivia Newton-John said she has no plans yet to get the COVID-19 vaccine, despite being eligible in her home state of California, where they’re being offered to older adults.

Newton-John didn’t elaborate on her decision, but her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, explained in the interview her own take on vaccines, the Independent reported.
“I’m not an anti-vaxxer. I’m anti putting mercury and pesticides in my body, which are in a lot of vaccines,” said 35-year-old Lattanzi, who has no medical qualifications and provided no evidence to back up her controversial reasoning.

I guess, according to this journalist one has to have medical qualifications to make a decision. Otherwise, do what we are told.
It is everyone’s right to decline (not “refuse”) the vaccine.
The problem is: when Olivia wants to visit her Cancer Center in Australia, will she be allowed to without a vaccine?
No concerts either.
Oliva may not look like it in photos, but she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer in 2017.
Taking that Covid shot right now is especially risky for people like her, who may already be on Chemo which lowers the immunity system.
I’ve had the hots for her ever since I first saw her, and now she says that!!!!! Wow, still have the hots.
She should feel mellow.
When you think about it, it was a remarkable achievement that in the 1950s such a huge percentage of the population rapidly complied with government advice and readily allowed their children to receive not one but two types of polio vaccine. Two things were present then that don’t necessarily exist today. 1) people trusted the government 2) There was a consensus of values and unity that induced people to comply and trust. Today even with huge campaigns of encouragement only about 45% of the targeted population receive the influenza vaccine. Suspect the the percentage ultimately accepting a COVID-19 vaccine will be somewhat higher, maybe 60% but there will be huge gaps. COVID-19 will not go the way of Polio. It will be around to some significant extent about as long as was the Spanish Flu. IMHO it will be 3-4 more years before COVID-19 ceases to dominate public health concerns.
The gratuitous “no evidence” thing shows up a lot these days. They really want everyone to be sheep.
I thought the Spanish Flu died out completely by spring `1920. Almost everyone had it and were immune, or died of it.
I thought she was dead.
You honestly love her.
I don’t know her reasons. I only know mine. I don’t trust ANYTHING coming from the sham government now. If they’re willing to kill babies, and they ARE, I have a pretty good idea how much they care about me.
