Back in 2018, a Kickstarter for a product called "Slice of Sauce" made headlines with an idea that is as mindblowing as it is a potential game-changer: packaged "slices" of ketchup billed as a "no-mess" and "zero soggy bun" way to enhance burgers, sandwiches, and wraps. The idea of sliced condiments has continued to bounce around in the public consciousness since, but Slice of Sauce has been relatively quiet… until recently.
Officially launched last year, Slice of Sauce grabbed a larger spotlight last week after appearing on Shark Tank. Baseball legend and guest shark Alex Rodriguez bought into the concept with a $200,000 investment, and the brand revealed an innovation that may finally cement its game-changer status: name-brand hot sauce slices!
From its humble ketchup beginnings, Slice of Sauce is now accepting online preorders for two spicy new slices: Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne and Secret Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce. Both products are official collaborations made with the actual sauce brands and are being sold in eight-slice packs for $5.99.

Frank’s products seem to be about twice as expensive as they need to be. Texas Pete is like a dollar. Franks is $3+ and not any better imo.
crystal, Louisiana and tx pete are all good and cheap.
Treated Spam how neat.
Franks is for grown-up chickens, Texas Pete is for baby chickens (eggs).
Do.Not.Want.
It looks like a sample of ugly vinyl flooring.
Um, I invented that.
I’ve been putting slices of jellied cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving leftover sandwiches for fifty years.
You can buy a gallon...seriesly, a gallon of the stuff on Amazon or at Sam’s Club...both in the $12-13 range.
At several drops per whatever meal I’m eating it on...that’s a lifetime supply for me.
Me too, but I prefer the real relish.
And it seems rather limiting as well as expensive.
Yeah, I like to portion my condiments exactly right.
Too much work. Ya gotta peel the slices...you touch it with your hands so you gotta make sure it dont get in your eyes...put it back carefully in the frig...difficult to measure out exactly how much you want...75 centavos a slice...and frankly, Franks red hot is barely hot...imho...a loser product. Crystal is flavorful...i get some store generic brand at about buck twenty nine for 12 oz. (Top’ems).
I put Tabasco way down on the list
All good with eggs except Franks which is the main ingredient in buffalo wings.
All these sauces are too sour. Fresh peppers, powdered red pepper and chile oil are my go-to heat sources.
Good stuff.
