Had lunch at Cracker Barrel. Stopped and picked up cat food- dog treats - kitty litter and food for the birds. Paul is at laundry washing Peppers blankets so they’ll be clean after her surgery tomorrow. Got the right shampoo. So much for the first day out after being snowed in for a couple of weeks. Yes OUR world revolves around four legged babies.
Thats good. You can check in with each other often. Its hard not to worry, but he sounds like a young man that knows what he needs to do, and you are there for him.
Since I don’t want to upset anyone, I won’t post any excerpts here. But the Rush Limbaugh website has put a transcript of the show today with Kathryn on their website.
They also have a link that says ‘FREE TODAY! Listen’ so I assume only members can listen after today.
I will post some info here about a memorial from the transcript.

MARK: And things are sort of complicated by the COVID situation because people can’t have normal memorial services anymore. But you’re planning a virtual memorial service for Rush at some point in the next few weeks?
KATHRYN: Yes, that’s right. Unfortunately due to COVID we can’t do as many things in person as we would like, but we are in the initial stages of planning a celebration of life that will be able to be viewed by all of the audience and friends and extended family at some point in the near future. We don’t have an exact date just yet. We’re working on some of the logistics. But, yes, that is something that we will have in the upcoming weeks to month.

Thank you. My daughter is quite a few years past 18 and really able to live on her own. There hasn’t been any real reason for her to move out. She’s been working and is doing adequately well. This is a family property and so, when we’re overseas, she has been taking care of it for us. But, she wants to move on now. It’s sad for me. And, it is selfish of me to hang on.
Some beautiful flowers arrived at hospital a few hours ago. Thank you n any others who were Part of it
it’s 430 the doctor finally came in indicated I was going to be released .
unfortunately all my potential rides home are gone and not available I’ve got a try to dig around and see what I can dig out
thank you all so much for all the news. I’ll try to catch you up on my news if n when I get home. and it’s so disheartening what’s going on in our country I know you were all on the same spirit as I am just trusting God and trusting Trump but being overwhelmed with the evil it’s terribly sad
Why spend millions and millions each year on this collection of spineless traitors?
They just cover for democrats.
Why not streamline the process?
Cut out the middle man - disband SCOTUS and send them all home.
Instead of running things through the Do-Nothing Supreme Court at great expense we can just have Schmucky Schumer, Nan The Ripper and Dr. Jill
tell us directly how the country will be run regardless of the Constitution, laws and ethics.

Hope your arms got rested today. I was at the farm, but the weather was awful. Wind and rain, so instead of watching the kids on the snow hill after school (rink is history), we sat in the greenhouse and listened to the chorus of birds. There’s a pigeon in the greenhouse (rescued last year from lambs sucking it’s feathers off lol), and a budgie caught in the fall (someone must have lost it and they caught it before the weather turned), they live in a big cage in the nice warm greenhouse. Then there’s the rooster, the chickens, the turkey, the ducks and the guinea fowl outside who never stay quiet for long. It’s noisy, but somehow soothing.
I am getting so I just don’t want to hear any news, I don’t want to think about Rush, I am sick to my stomach by the nasty turn the left has taken. Now that they realize that they never have to win another election, they are unstoppable and they know it.
I understand your BIL. I am at my limit, as you must all be. I now understand clearly how evil the left is, and that they know full well they don’t even have to bother fooling people any longer. They don’t have to actually win any elections...full steam ahead, and they enjoy poking anyone who doesn’t like it in the eye.
Awww.....I hope Dolly gets some good rest after this (has to be a) long day.

I caught a few minutes of Mark Steyn ‘interviewing’ Kathryn, today.
Loved the idea of callers asking her questions about Rush.
I would love to know two things - and, they may have been asked/answered and I missed it:
Did Rush ever have anyone in mind to take the reigns, take over his golden mic
Did Rush have any final thoughts/ideas about how to turn this socialist ship around
I get sad thinking that we won’t have him to steer us through these waters....but, take comfort that he doesn’t have to witness what is happening to the country he loved with his heart and soul.
