A title like that reads like someone needs to call a suicide prevention hotline.
DO NOT TRY TP OPEN THIS LINK!
I’m sorry but the world’s a b!tch so get used to it. I never put more than 15% of my investment into the market....rest was in CD’s, Gold/Silver, Bonds etc.
Did not get the return during bullish times bit didn’t lose my a$$ when the market tanked.
I was tight freakin spender (still drive a used 2004 Cadillax SRX) conservative as he!! with my my money and at 60 now have a net worth of close to a million.
We more often than not reap what we sow.

From the article:
“I will not vote again...
I am done...
Don’t ask me to pledge to the flag...
or salute the troops...”
THE LINK COULD BE A VIRUS! IT CRASHED MY COMPUTER.
I guess it sucks to be whatever whiny bitch that wrote this.
Titles like that can get you ZOTTED.
I can agree with most of this.
However, you must still vote.
Piss them off, and write in every candidate.
They then are forced to manually tabulate it.
Make them work for the steal
The best things in life are not money and politics.

Often people who have been assaulted or robbed, especially a home robbery have the same sort of affect this woman is demonstrating. When you consider what has happened to her personally and the country, she certainly has been robbed and assaulted. Her money has been taken by confiscatory taxes that she couldn’t avoid and for which she and her hard working husband received little. Her political rights have even been stolen in a fraudulent election. She is being told she does matter and there is no way to seek redress. She has every right to be angry even mad as hell.
I assume they’re still getting social security and of course it’s a lousy return on the money we were forced to contribute but the payments are still coming. For now at least.
Regarding the market - I wonder what they invested in - the market recovered from the crash. You have to pay attention.
I understand being pissed off...we all are ....but you have to take responsibility for yourself.
Powerful piece, gorgeous writing. Did you write this? If so, a round of applause. If not, thanks for posting.
I have a friend in California who told me he took down his flag.
I asked him, “Do you see any Mexican flags?”
“No.”
“Any American flags?”
“Three neighbors.”
“Then its safe to hoist the Flag.”
“It makes me sad.”
“Your neighbors raise the flag for you. And they would appreciate it if you raise
it for them.”
“But I don’t feel patriotic right now.”
“I can give you 75 million reasons to feel patriotic.”
Excellent post. I feel everything she said. She wrote it so well.
Her finale was great:
“I was raised to be a lady, and ladies don’t curse, but ***k these mother***kers to hell and back for what they’ve done to me, and mine, and my country. All we Joe Blow Americans ever wanted was a little patch of land to raise a family, a job to pay the bills, and at least some illusion of freedom, and even that was too much for these human parasites. They want it all, mind, body and soul. Damn them. Damn them all.”
I agree 100%.
Well at least you didn’t post the last paragraph.
You can still hang around.
The only way one could lose money in the market over the last 30 years is either by:
1) Putting all of one’s eggs in one basket.
2) Liquidating at the bottom of the cycles.
3) Trying to beat the computers in day trading.
4) Playing losers games like commodities, naked shorts, etc.
Blue Chips have almost doubled over the last 5 years (yes, I know the indexes are rigged, and even how they are rigged, but they still are reflective of the upward trend) and the broad market has done almost as well (S&P not quite doubled, Russell slightly better than double as of today).
As for Social Security, one can really hurt one self by aggressive tax avoidance strategies. But last I saw, they were still making payments.

Got done early, I see.
When I was a young 50 we lost a great deal in the stock market....we kept at it and fought our way back. From that experience we learned a lot about what to do and what not to do in the market. We are doing quite well now but I check the market multiple times a day. There are no quarantees in this world but life is precious....no matter how rough you have had it you still have each other.....enjoy what ever you have!!!

(CNN)Justice Department prosecutors have formally walked back their assertion in a court filing that said Capitol rioters sought to "capture and assassinate elected officials."
A federal prosecutor in Arizona asked a magistrate judge in a hearing on Friday to strike the line in a recent court filing about defendant Jacob Anthony Chansley, a man who is alleged to have led some in the crowd in the first wave into the Capitol with a bullhorn while carrying a spear and wearing a fur headdress.
The entire line the prosecutors want to omit from their court filing is: "Strong evidence, including Chansley's own words and actions at the Capitol, supports that the intent of the Capitol rioters was to capture and assassinate elected officials in the United States Government."
The stunning move comes a few hours after Michael Sherwin, the acting US attorney in Washington, DC, said at a press conference there was "no direct evidence of kill and capture teams" at this time in the siege of the Capitol building.
