I think people here know that I’m a doctor.
I just completed the second shot of the two dose Pfizer vaccine. I felt virtually nothing after the first shot and nothing after the second shot given about 15 hours ago.
The injection consists of only 0.3 ml. Contrast that with the flu vaccine that is 0.5 ml.
The first shot helps your body recognize the virus, and the second revs up your immune system.
As you know, 99% of those infected with the virus recover fully. On the other hand there is a small percentage that recover but not fully. We call these people “long haulers.”
You might want to read up about them as many are formally very healthy even athletic.
Don’t be afraid of this shot. I recommend that you take it when it becomes available.
Have been on Marik Protocol since April. It works.
My own post exposure protocol is HCQ + elemental zinc sulfate
For 5 days.
For positive test w symptoms, HCQ + zinc + aziThromicin for 5 days.
Speakwithanmd dot com for HCQ
I just got the first shingles shot. I’m due for the second 6 months later. I had the flu vaccine too.
I’m reacted to vaccines in the past, mainly with painful joints.
I took some adult aspirin a few days before this shot, and Tylenol on the day of the shot. Maybe that explains why I feel nothing.
Kroger grocery stores offer a rapid antibody test (IgG and IgM) to measure if one has antibodies to COVID at their pharmacies. $25 by appointment. Immediate results.
I’ve seen no data that shows that. I suppose it’s possible you can still be colonized and no vaccine is 100%. the few that did get the virus after vaccination had a milder case just like with the flu vaccine
That's the general rule for all vaccinations. When I go to my doctor's office for one I am supposed to stay in the lobby for a while.
I don’t know. Is it one shot?
“In the late ‘70s the bank I worked at sent out debit cards to all customers for ATMs we installed”
A fraternity brother in 1980 got a job with Bank One upon graduation. His boss told him ATM machines would never work in the long run and everyone would go back to tellers. ha ha.
The authorities are telling people here that get their shot at drive-up locations, they should park for at least 15 minutes after getting the shot just in case they have an adverse reaction!..............................
The act of getting a shot with saline will from time to time set some people off.
“ As of January 3, 2021, a total of 20,346,372 cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and 349,246 associated deaths have been reported in the United States.”
Yes, sadly I know a many who was decapitated in a freak motorcycle accident.
Another tragic covid death.
Yer tainted now. Bill Gates has changed yer DNA. You have satan in your chromosomes now. I will pray for you.”
The post is coming from a medical professional.
You must have a greater understanding of science than the poster to make the statement that you made.
Labeling others who disagree with you is a gambit of the left and marxists. You have legitimate concerns about the vaccine? You're an 'anti-vaxxer'. How childish.
By 1969 your daughter might have had the right measles shot. She might want to check. Separate issue from MMR. Its a live versus dead thing
One of the things they are looking at is the mumps part of the shot..which is also the one where the titers decrease faster.
Maybe it will help..maybe it wont help at all..still going to get it.
They made each of us sit and wait for 15 minutes.
THey had a emergency team on standby.
A nurse next to me said she was “itching a little” after a few minutes. They came, and yanked her from the room, and took her somewhere for observation.
Hahaha. I suspect she’s ok....
I think this virus, esp now in it’s current state, might not be that potent.
the vaccine is not a live virus. It’s an antigen to trick your immune system to rrecognize it.
Good for you, thanks for the thread. I had the 1t Moderna a week ago, no side effects but a little soreness at injection site. I appreciate your report about no side effects from the second shot.
The 15 minute wait is the standard practice for ALL vaccines, not just this one. There are some who experience allergic reactions to vaccines, but it isn’t particularly common. Still, to be safe, your medical provider will typically not let you leave immediately after a vaccination.
“ All vaccines kill some people, but the majority die in travel accidents going to or from getting them.”
Very comforting to know I likely won’t win the vaccine death lotto!
It will likely be someone else. Sucks to be them.
I got a Flu shot back in September for the first time since I was in The Marines back in the 70’s. I got the shot and went right to my car and drove to work.......................
It seems some people just have to get Covid their self to think its serious.
We have more than one medical professional here at FR, and everyone of them has posted numerous times of the gravity of the virus.
You are so right. This is just like butter and margarine. Bill Gates is going to kill 1/3 of mankind with his vaccine. I read all about it on Twitter before I got banned. We must pray that these educated fools come to their senses before 1/3 of us are gone.
That's why this disease is so mind boggling.
Person A: A healthy 32 yo male with no comorbidities who has remained in total isolation somehow contracts the virus and with 72 hours is dead.
Person B: A 65 yo female with high blood pressure, diabetes and a congestive heart failure can't even become infected when exposed to the virus.
Gotta be driving the medical field nuts.
