That’s an interesting site. Thanks!
There’s about 115,000 without electrical in British Columbia as well.

My power went out (in City of Olympia) but came back quite quickly.
They were already in the dark.
This just an observation.
Turn out the lights The party’s over
Interesting; approx. a week ago, Pakistan lost power throughout the country. Global warming or short on cash (unable to pay elec. bill)?
These are going to be real exciting when their electric car only mandates kick in.
There are no coincidences. Pakistan, Italy, Berlin, Iran, and now Washington and Oregon.
Red
They better keep a few buckets of electricity on hand in case of an outage.
Will electric cars work on D cells?
hahaha
They’ve ALWAYS been in the dark!
A bit of a wind storm this evening in Seattle. Our lights flickered, cable went out for a bit. Worst of all the dog was freaked out.
It happens. (Overhead power lines and lots of tall fir trees). Of course, if it knocked Microsoft and Amazon off the grid forever....
75,000,000 lost power on November 3rd.
“Turn out the lights The party’s over...”
Before I got to the Seattle area there was a bill board that said “Last one to leave Seattle, turn off the lights.”
Mainly due to Boeing getting slow I think (80’s???)
With Covid - all of the office parks are desolate. I’m guessing Boeing, along with their software problems, is also doing poorly. Amazon is leaving Seattle (if most aren’t already working from home).
We are in the middle of another light-rail expansion. I’m not sure how that will work with everyone working from home now. And once companies and people realize that they can work from home, have zoom meetings, etc. and everyone saves money.... I’m guessing the light-rail will be used mostly by gangs to get from the city to the suburbs. (Like in Portland).
Twice here. South central Oregon coast.
This is a good site also if you are not already familiar with it. They’ve updated. Clicking the icons brings more info. They are showing an electric tower.
