Obviously, we know Parler was shut down, anyone familiar with others?
About an hour ago the most popular rifle forum ar15.com went offline. Someone said Google was blocking their DNS.
Great purge is coming I think and I'm sure there will be more casualties.
bbs? i used to run one, on my land line. late 80’s
Yes, see my post 12. Confirmed it is a backup.
@4:45CST
Going to go visit, see what it’s all about.
Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at parler.com. If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try: Try again later. Check your network connection. If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.
That and 300 baud modems.
Im noticing bongino.com is down too
Amazon De-Platformed them.......it’s headed to court.
You need to catch up!
Seems like IRC (Internet Relay Chat) may make a comeback. It was used quite heavily prior to the explosion of social media and it is still quite popular in certain places.
Bannon just said on Warroom that MAGA world is going to hibernate. No purchases beyond basic necessities.
I dont know if I completely agree with that. I have advocated that you go generic/local.
His advice would certainly send a message. But I dont want hurting small mom&pops who have already been brutualized by Covid to be further hurt.
I will certainly stay out of big box and avoid national name brands as well as avoid big tech/media.
This website bongino.com/ is currently offline. Cloudflare’s Always Online™ shows a snapshot of this web page from the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. To check for the live version, click Refresh.
not all of us are old and ready to kick off.
I haven’t hit 50 yet..
but it’s getting with in putting range.
I like to use the term “rounding third”
I like bongino’s idea. a conservative economy..
were we only make the purchase we want from other like minded businesses.
I like this idea however that list will also become a hit list for the left.
It’s much easier to do on a local level because you or your friends know who to buy from and who to avoid.
I already got one call today about potential business. “so and so said you support maga, if you do I want to buy XXXX”
I’m very active on IRC and NNTP. Telnet can be made secure with SASL. It’s a terrible protocol natively but like SMTP can be made functional.
Some of us have rounded third and started our slide into home plate about 10 feet too early.
Enjoy yourself while all of your body parts still work.
I don't think so, but it's your server. I lost a machine to a telnet attack, just having the port open and the service available. No login occurred, at least not through the usual auth mechanisms.
These are not business decisions. They are ideology decisions. They are currying favor from the LEFT in the hopes of favorable treatment by the govt.
I think they are way over their skies. The free market should correct as long as govt stays out of it.
They are never getting a dime from me. Even if they self correct, once you show your true colors, it is forever.
Just heard about it today on FR.
I thought there were faster ones.
