We will soon live in an America where our government, our "news" media and the technology that millions of Americans rely on to communicate will be under the control of a single political party and viewpoint: The Left.
The people on the Left, from Nancy Pelosi to Jack Dorsey, hold us in contempt. Many of them literally hate us. The hate our nation. Many of them would be more than happy to throw the Constitution into a trash can. We have very little, if anything, in common with these people. They have been attacking the President of the United States non-stop since 2016. They conspired to steal the 2020 election from the American voter. We know they did this. But they control the media and the technology, hence they control the narrative that influences those Americans who don't pay to the details of what is happening.
I don't want to live in a nation that is effectively ruled by one political party and by a powerful, unelected technology oligarchy. It's bad enough already that I live in state where I don't have representation by my state senators or governor.
What are we supposed to do? There is no reason to believe that Joe Biden will make a sincere effort to unite us as Americans. Even if he did he would be overruled by the more extreme leftists such as Kalama Harris, AOC, Ilhan Omar, Hirono, Obama, etc.
Do we form a new political party? Do we attempt to create a red-state union so we can have some measure of independence from the DC swamp? Armed rebellion? Writing letters to our representatives seems pointless.
I don't want violence but we've been pushed into that direction by the Left for some time now. There's over 70 million of us. We need to unite and figure out something and we need to do it soon.

I wonder if it will still involve (to one extent or another) the Democrats learning once again about being careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

IMO Republicans have the challenge to bring new blood in, retire the current crop of RINOs, GOPe, Never Trumpers, and the losers like Lyn' Ted, Mike Lee, Graham, etc. We need a whole new generation of Trump Republicans.

Personally I think the ‘form a political party’ is, and I hate to say it, pie in the sky.
It takes a lot to do that. For years we’ve basically had two strong parties and the Independents imho have only ever served to split votes. We need to uphold one and get the right people in power.
I know this will anger some but that is just reality. Suggesting everyone leave the Republican party is cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Nobody (no party) has had a clear mandate to govern in America since 1980 and 1984. We have been run by the people who play one victim against another victim. When we run low on victims and outrage, we generate fresh crops.
Resist and disrupt.

If he is going to lead us (and I believe he is), he and those who support him (and us) in the military, Congress, and government will have to communicate to us what comes next.
We have just experienced a coup--a genuine overthrown of our government by theft of a presidential election. There will be a counter-coup effort. Any action not in sync with that effort could be counterproductive.
What makes you think the Republican party is capable of or even want to stand for what a lot of us believe in. The GOP is dead to me. Plus with fake news and fake elections it is Facist rule until a CW.
Until the fraud issue is dealt with voting is s dubious solution.
Biggest problem i see is that over 70 million people supported Trump. However, nobody is organizing and everyday we loses more ground.
Das Leben die Anderen (The Lives of Others) is another good one. An unvarnished view of life in the DDR. Even the loyal intelligentsia were under the watchful eye of the Stasi, looking for a slip-up.
We were told with conspiracy theories pushed by self-described conservatives, that we couldn’t win by getting out the vote. Conservatives in Georgia were told that voting for Republicans would be evil and that Republicans are evil. We were told that President Trump would save us all by himself and didn’t need our help. Conspiracy theorists told people to riot and physically threaten our Vice President and members of Congress.
So what do we do? Learn some lessons in ways that will leave lasting impressions.
