Why would Special Forces seize the laptop of a member of Congress? The order would be illegal and inappropriate for a military unit...whether or not the particular member of Congress is a crook. Should be some kind of law enforcement with a warrant.
McInerney is one of the good guys on our side. Your attempts to demean him are beneath contempt.

Criminals are stupid in nature. I refuse to believe anything until after the fact. It would be just as true that the invasion of the capital was cover to steal things like laptops to destroy the evidence contained within.

She was Argo scared and she is not that bright. She knows politics and lying, literally cut her baby teeth on it, but she’s got so many people in her entourage looking after these things she’s out of survival skills. Its a govt property computer. She’s so busy telling people -is what to do pretending she’s queen she forgot she worked for the government. Ya. She left it. Her entourage was scared.
