Mozilla, developer of the Firefox internet browser, has argued that more must be done to keep Donald Trump and other “bad actors” out of cyberspace, prompting many to vow to never use the group’s services again.
In a blog post titled ‘We need more than deplatforming’, the open-source software community said that Twitter’s decision to permanently ban Trump from its platform didn’t go far enough in weeding out “hate” on the internet. While blaming Trump for the “siege and take-over” of the US Capitol on January 6, the non-profit tech group argued that “white supremacy is about more than any one personality.”
“We need solutions that don’t start after untold damage has been done.Changing these dangerous dynamics requires more than just the temporary silencing or permanent removal of bad actors from social media platforms,” Mozilla wrote.

I am not technically very proficient but I am able to use it well.
I understand tor is built in, but that is beyond my speed.
I want to install VPN but that is beyond my speed.

Looks like mozilla-turds picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
The problem is that not enough folks will be aware of what Mozilla is doing, so they won’t lose enough folks to really make a difference. Not many folks keep up on news sadly
Sadly, yes, although proponents will say they don't control any of the internal workings of the Opera browser. Right! I wish they hadn't sold it, otherwise it would be my browser of choice. Brave and Vivaldi annoy for me various reasons.
Couple of questions...
So, who gets to determine what "hate" is? Is hate anything that contradicts the party line?
Also, hate is bad, got it. But do we really want to censor all hate out of society? How will we teach about hate and the effects - which I would contend are both good and bad - of hate? Hate is a natural emotion, we're never going to rid the world of it. How will we teach children to cope with it?
I switched to Pale Moon a couple of years ago. I like it, put it has a lot of updates over time.

A difference of opinion on how the government spends your money makes you Hitler.
You want government to stop welfare? You must hate people and want to starve them -not that it wastes 70% of the money.
You want to put up a fence on the border? It’s not that criminals and drug traffickers cross anywhere they please, and there are plenty of legal entry points... You must be a racist.
You want freedom of speech to be able to say whatever you want to say? No you can only say what THEY want you to say.

I use Opera. But, there are so many browsers that no conservative should bother with Firefox. It's that not the special.
Brave is a great browser. I've been using it for years. It has a bookmark importer tool under settings. This tool also will import passwords and browsing history. Good luck.
