Parler's been shut down.
It’s back up for me. Something smells funny-smells like...tyranny.
Between Trump and Rush, I doubt they can handle the traffic.

My spidey sense is off the charts. Twitter bans everyone, parler, gab, reddit all at the same time on a friday night. All conservative communications? Something is going down? 25th amendment? Arresting Trump?
A lot of good Ham radio operators will do when most people have never even seen a ham radio. Hell, most trucks don’t even have CB radios in them any more

BTW-concerning the Secrete Service and Trump. At the rally in Bullhead city, a guy who works for the airport security who was at a after rally event I went to said that he talked to the service guys there and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them said they will NEVER serve under Biden.
He was showing pictures he had taken of the plane landing and the President speaking-etc.
At the same time, Parler was warned by both the Apple and Google stores that if they did not impose moderation on their free speech platform within 24 hours they would be banned entirely.
“We have received numerous complaints regarding objectionable content in your Parler service, accusations that the Parler app was used to plan, coordinate, and facilitate the illegal activities” at the US Capitol on 6 January, Apple wrote in an email to Parler executives. “The app also appears to continue to be used to plan and facilitate yet further illegal and dangerous activities.”

The browser is just another app. They can update the browser to not access unapproved URLs.
It’s been down for maintenance. I just reloaded my notifications and they are working. It isn’t down.
I am still not able to get beyond some initial feed info on the Parler App on my iphone.
On my PC, Parler is working slowly/sporadically.
It might be time for another march on DC.
The message is contact every congress critter, senator local peeps... demand they contact Apple platforming to NOT deplatform parler.
JOIN PARLER.COM is is very easy to do. Everybody... be in touch.
They can simply block all traffic from a certain IP address.

I rarely tweet but I guess I won’t at all now. I deactivated my account and encourage everyone else to do the same.
You realize android is a google phone??
With 5G coming the need for “apps” “approved” by Apple and Google will become less important. All of this stuff is web browser accessible and it’s fairly easy to put a web link button onto your device home screen that looks like an app button. Apple can control the apps, but they cannot control the browsers

Lot of good that will do when T-mobile, AT&T and others start blocking things at the DNS level.
Most web-based “apps” blow chunks. No push notifications, shit navigation all running on some sort of Wordpress, joomla or drupal. People want and expect stand-alone apps nowadays.
But there are lots of browsers to choose from. I suppose they can also deny browsers but they may run into anti-trust issues.
