I have a pretty good system that I follow but fully recognize that some virus are going to get through because of my own ineptitude and because of the nature of the equipment.
I can tell you I was damn glad I had on a mask and a visor shield when the lady in front of me turned around, pulled down her mask and shouted a long way down the grocery store for her son to come here without thinking... ...and when she realized what she had done she did apologize and felt bad. She blasted her germs all over me even with a grocery cart in between us.
And when I got home I broke out the PVP iodine. Lessen the viral load is always my objective.
No, it is an astute observation and one you should think about when you carry on to someone about how they are stupid for wearing a mask, yada yada yada

If masks do such a good job, then no need to worry about those that don’t wear masks. YOU are protected.

Then please don’t patronize any of the establishments where my kids work. I don’t want them to be shut down and my kids put back out of work because some putz refused to wear a mask.

Been there. Still surviving but with lung damage and can’t wear a mask. Can’t breathe.
Over 99% of those infected with COVID survive.
Not wearing a mask. My body my choice, and have a doctors waiver letter to prove it.
I just don’t see a problem because the annual flu has a higher mortality rate than COVID and we have a vaccine for the flu.

there is someone here whose brother is a competitive tennis player. he is convinced he had it.
he can’t compete anymore. that was a few months ago. dont know if he is still having problems. dont remember the alias to ask him.
then there is Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson who had to suddenly leave the game due to ‘cramps’ but then came back to save the day in the final 2 minutes a few weeks ago. I think he is managing his Covid experience pretty well but you know he is getting the best care that is available.

Didn’t you just say everyone has a right to their own opinion, but a contrary opinion seems to provoke a Muslim response—you don’t believe what I believe, therefore you must be attacked with snark or insults.
As I tell my college students, just because someone has a different opinion doesn’t make them ignorant, stupid or evil. They are just somebody that reviewed the data and came to a different point of view.
Yes, people can survive. Some fine. Some not. Just had a relative that threw a clot and had a stroke after getting out of the hospital for being treated for COVID. He was there over two weeks..and still managed to have a stroke AFTER he got out.
But carry on....people choose the risk they are willing to take.
Everyone I know is responding well to treatments or therapy.
Myself, I’m getting better and better every week.
But it’s slower than anyone would like.
Now the question, should I, do I could I take the vaccine?
I mean, do I need it? Not sure. Either way it’s my choice I guess.
