Anyone think Trump could walk into the Congressional session on Wednesday, in the House chamber? Wouldn’t that blow some minds?

Members of Congress - in the House chamber? - gather to have the votes announced and possible objections raised

What if Trump walks straight in with binders and binders of evidence that it was a rigged election? Finally, the media would HAVE to pay attention!

Walk in with binders and binders of evidence. And outside, a million angry supporters.

They would say “rules are rules”

It is up to members of the house and Senate to object and present evidence.

But, I hope that PDJT does show up just to give the objectors moral support.

Nah, the media wouldn’t pay attention. They would close their eyes, stick their fingers in their ears, and like Sergeant Schultz, would say I see nothing, I hear nothing.

Not with a fully armed militia behind him.

Why wouldn’t the President just call for a special session of Congress for the express purpose of presenting evidence of election fraud?

Not with a fully armed militia behind him.

That will not happen.

The Congress of 2021 would probably take the cowards way out of that situation, and just quickly adjourn the meeting.
“Meeting ADJOURNED!!! Bam-Bam-Bam goes the gavel. Congressmen quickly file out of the room, followed by most of the press, leaving President Donald Trump in a near empty (evacuated) chamber.

The media would just say he carried in a book full of discredited and debunked fake evidence and tried to orchestrate coup. Then they’d call for his arrest for treason. Wanna bet that guys like Mitt Romney would support that?

Interesting idea

He is not allowed into the House or Senate chambers except when given permission by the House and or Senate.

Separation of powers, the President is not a Senator or Representative.

Neither could he just enter the chambers of the Supreme Court.

That would be shades of Charles I entering the House of Commons to arrest members prior to the English Civil War.

Not a good thing.

The Congress and the state legislatures have exclusive control over their chambers. The reason for that in the English speaking world is due to that event.

You keep saying that like if you say it enough times Trump won’t do it. He’s gonna do it. 😅

He needs to start announcing arrests are being made in connection with voter fraud.

I believe he has to be “invited” into the house.

Separation of Powers and all that.

Oh YES! I hope he marches in with every patriot that can fill the chambers! Guard the door and not let the rats out.
I’ll be watching!

They would have to actually be making arrests.

Who is going to do that? The FBI? The Justice Department? Local DC PD?

No one is going to listen to him.

I am not saying he isn’t getting screwed. He is. But NO ONE in DC wants to continue this.

I’m not advocating that he just show up. I doubt he would be granted admittance, as someone else noted.

Calling for a special session of Congress, provided the right conditions are met, is a Presidential power that is expressly given to the President per the U.S. Constitution.

I'm not the one advocating he walk in. He has to be invited in. I doubt that's going to happen in either the House or the Senate.
