The Last Refuge tweeted: Cruz had 2 whole months to speak up, SILENCE Then at the last moment -knowing Hawley just lit fuse on a roll call vote- he asks for a "commission" that would just (coincidentaly) push back acceptance of electoral votes until Trump supporters have left town.

It took time for info to come out and for pressure to build. A 10 day investigation will reveal even more.
So what exactly will happen on 01/06? Will Hawley still object, along with however many Reps are on record stating that intention? Does the (planned) audit commission supersede everything? Or is it merely being “discussed”?

They’re totally trashing Cruz on The Donald. I think his ‘evolution’ here was first thinking he’d keep quiet as that was the best way to get rid of Trump (just like most other Republicans). But then he figured out that he better get on Trump’s side if he doesn’t want to be laughed out of the 2024 Primaries - so here he is!!!
Remember shortly after the Republican convention when Cruz flew with Obama on AF1 in 2016?

Cruz doing his usual obfuscation and trying to steal Hawley’s thunder; while at the same time undermining the effort to reclaim Trump’s victory. This “audit commission” is just a “smoke and mirrors dog and pony show” to try to calm down the gullible. Deplorables aren’t buying it!
If some “white hats” - say military intelligence or friendlies - hack the upcoming GA election and then reveal how easy it as to do... would Dems be forced to sue abs admit the Dominion systems are hackable?
Likely illegal so bad idea to do but at this point what’s left? No “smoking guns” have been covered by MSM but a million extra or subtracted votes might get some attention.
Getting a little ahead of ourselves here. They don’t have the votes to force a 10 day audit. mcconnel, romney and toomey have all stated unequivocally they do not support this. So there is no majority support in the house or the senate. Will be interesting to see how big the crowd is in DC and how they react. Wish I could be there.

Seriously though -- in your opinion, no counting of electors on 01/06? Or is that still a "go"? Because if there will for sure be a 10-day delay, it doesn't seem there's much reason to go to D.C. for 01/06.
