Miami: 2-2, one remains
Tenn: 4-1
Tenn has tiebreaker by above
A.
only tie that’s not straight forward clear:
Miami 10-6. Conf is 7-5
Balt 11-5
Cleve 10-6. Conf is 6-6
Indy 11-5
Tenn 10-6 Conf is 7-5
Miami, CLE, Tenn fighting for last 2 wildcards.
-none of three have head-to-head sweep
-mia, Tenn tied Conf. Dropping Cleve
-next tiebreaker is Common games. Tenn has it over Miami.
Tenn 4-1 vs Miami 2-3. Tenn becomes 6 seed.
Miami vs Cleve then for 7 seed. Two-way tie.
Goes to Miami based on Conf record. CLE is out of playoffs
B.
Baltimore, Tennessee, Cleveland and Miami control their destinies... if they win they are in - and Indy gets bumped.
Assuming Indy wins (Jacksonville) and the other 4 all lost then Cleveland would miss the playoffs
C.
If all win except Tenn & CLE, Tenn is out. CLE is #7. Head to head victory over Tenn
The NFC East is a bit pathetic this season. Their best is 6-9.
Looks sort of like some of this year’s college bowl games having teams with 3-7 records. That smells of desperation to have/be in a bowl. Of course, now there are some 50 bowl games. That dilutes the interest and significance of ‘bowl’ games.
As long as there are game sponsors and game broadcast sponsors, there will be lots of bowl games. It’s all about the dough.

Colts.
Miami at Buffalo The Dolphins are still fighting for the postseason and the Bills have the second seed locked up. So the team with more to play for.... Dolphins.
Baltimore at Cincinnati The Ravens need a win to get in. And while they sometimes play down to the level of their opponents I don't see them slipping up against this inferior Cincinnati squad. Ravens.
Pittsburgh at Cleveland The Browns are also a team that needs a win to get in. And while the Steelers somehow put together a very strong second half last week to beat the Colts they are still not that good. Mayfield and his (COVID depleted) team to win. Browns.
Minnesota at Detroit How can the Lions be so bad for so long? I mean, they had Stafford and Calvin Johnson for a number of years and have nothing to show for that. And now? While the Vikings aren't going anywhere, they are going to a win Sunday. Vikings.
New York Jets at New England OHMIGOSH! The Jets are on a two-game win streak. And the Patriots... let's just say Bill Belichick needs a lot of new players for next season. Jay - Ee - Tee - Ess! Jets.
Dallas at New York Giants The 'Boys can still win their division... unbelievably. The G-Men do have a decent D but... Cowboys.
Atlanta at Tampa Bay The Bucs absolutely demolished the hapless Lions last week. And the Falcons are already looking forward to next season. Bucs.
Green Bay at Chicago I believe the Bears are somehow still in the running for a postseason spot. But the Packers have just been playing so well.... Packers.
Las Vegas at Denver Jon Gruden is personally responsible for the loss last week to the Dolphins. Will he manage to screw up another game? Not against this lousy Broncos team. Raiders.
Jacksonville at Indianapolis Jax is about the only team worse than the Lions. Colts.
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City The Chiefs are resting just about everyone. The Chargers have nothing to play for but I think Herbert will go off for a big day in what is essentially an exhibition game. Chargers.
Arizona at Los Angeles Rams The Cards have been so inconsistent... For that matter so have the Rams (lose to the Jets?!).... Cardinals.
Seattle at San Francisco The Niners are down to their practice squad. Seahawks.
New Orleans at Carolina Tune-up game for the Saints heading into the playoffs. Saints.
Tennessee at Houston Boy, the Titans sure did not look like a contender last week against The Pack. But.... but.... no matter what you say about the disappointing Texans, they can score points. A lot of them. Texans.
Washington at Philadelphia Did the Redskins - oops!, the WFT, want Dwayne Haskins gone?! Release him six days before the season finale. Yes they wanted him gone. I don't know who will be playing QB but with their D they should have enough to beat Philly. The WFT.
The Dennis Green rant is the all-time best. ‘If you want to crown their asses, then crown them!’
You can tell me all about it after it’s over. As in years past, I don’t bother with it.
