Heh! I lived in Yorkshire for 8 years. Took me about 6 months to navigate the dialect and slang. They couldn’t understand me either.

It’s amazing all the different dialects in short distances.
I like the Newcastle dialect as well.
Most of them he did pretty good. Much better than I would be able to do, that’s for sure. 8>)

My wife is from Nottingham. I consider our household to be bilingual.
Strange to say, it is my German Shepherd’s new favorite...
I got her from some people that had kids but were moving and couldn’t keep her anymore, and when she heard this video, she got excited and started looking around!!

The boat story is fabulous but the accents are out of this world!
I have always found it fascinating that when they sing they all sound like midwest Americans.
