King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls are not Hawaiian enough, a new lawsuit charges.
The class-action suit, filed Friday in Manhattan federal court, accuses the maker of the popular baked products of defrauding consumers by suggesting they’re still made in the Aloha State.
In fact, they’re made in California.
“King’s Hawaiian has been known as the most authentic purveyor of its eponymous Hawaiian rolls,” Long Island attorney Spencer Sheehan, who filed the lawsuit on behalf of a Yonkers man and others, told The Post on Tuesday.
“Unfortunately, they’re labeling gives consumers the impression that it’s made in Hawaii,” he said. “It’s not.”
The lawsuit, which names Yonkers resident Robert Galinsky as the chief plaintiff,

I was in Romania not too long ago and I saw a family of Chinese speaking pretty darn good Romanian. I had to do a double-take.
You go to Mexico in any mall in a big city and a good portion of those kitchen workers are Chinese.
Next they’ll come after the makers of Swiss Miss instant hot chocolate and the many brewers of India Pale Ale.
Lotta Germans in Mexico too.
I dated a gal from vera cruz with blonde hair and green eyes.

And Mexican Al Pastor came from the middle east.
rumor has it that hamburgers were once made out of ham by a German Burger in Hamberg, Germany...but some say he was really a Jewish rabbi from Saudi Arabia, so now all hamburgers are made in India from cows because the country is overrun with them.........
Mexico is a melting pot of some sorts.
My cousins paternal last name is Gallo - as in Italian, and related to the Ernest & Julio Gallo wine family. They are massively wealthy.
(summer recipe. great for Independence Day.)
King’s Hawaiian buns are an important ingredient of Big Kahuna burgers. Excellent if your party is “Tiki themed”.
2 lbs. hamburger marinated in 4 Tbsp. Hawaiian style Teriyaki sauce for 20 minutes.
(Sauce is equal parts ketchup and brown sugar, with 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard. Simmered until sugar melts. Sounds ridiculous but tastes great on the burger.)
Grill burgers and pineapple slices at the same time. When burgers are about done, melt a slice of Provolone over them.
Brush liquid coconut oil on inside of King’s Hawaiian hamburger buns before toasting them on grill.
Add a slice of purple onion and tomato, then sauce the upper bun. Pickled and hot pepper slices optional.
(be sure to have lots of copies of the recipe for guests.)
“Tiki themed” have you not heard? SJW’s have declared Tiki bars as cultural misappropriation.
Seriously.
Hawaii is a great mash up of food cultures aint it?
It makes me hoppin mad!
