Just got a deposit into my bank account from IRS pending for $600.
I didn't even ask for it.
It's not a stimulus check, it's a Covid Lockdown check. Perhaps the people in Red states should get higher amounts /s

The biggest tell right now is the unofficial spending at $7.8 trillion. That’s double what it has been in recent years. Spending is out of control.
The anticipated pandemic end this summer and the associated opening of the economy will never be able to offset this reckless spending and the damage done to millions of small business owners. Inflation and recession in 12 months.
I agree. If there is no economic harm to a taxpayer, they should not be getting a check.

Exactly. People wanted their businesses to be open not a meager handout. Even $2k doesn’t cover a month much less 10 months. Congress and Trump could have stopped this. I don’t think they want to. I think everyone is out to start some sh*t and economics is a great way to do it.
P.S. In case you haven't noticed they spend our money, and then some like drunken sailors. We agree with you, but all bets are off now.
I know several people that say they are going to not affiliate with any political party, with one of the reasons a hopeful end to the unrelenting political junk mail.
I thought the purpose of a “stimulus” was to stimulate the economy. If that is the case, give it to everyone equally. Not that I feel we should spending our children into slavery.

I pay an obscene amount of taxes and have yet to see a stimulus check, much less this round; yet, illegals are receiving them? This whole thing is a travesty and Trump should not have signed onto it.
But wait, there's more, we're also teaching there is no accountability in government.
Well you have a valid point, however, you are blessed that you make a lot of money and that you and your family are not being hit like most are being hit.
Donate it to the state militia, i.e. someone who needs to exercise their 2A rights, if you don’t want to spend it yourself.
