Exactly. And we don't even get so much as a "thank you" for paying for it.
If that goes through, it’s $1400 more for a total of $2000.
Me neither.
it doesn’t go to zero at 150, it just starts reducing at that amount. I make way more than that, and got nearly all of the last stimulus check.
Some of that $600 WAS mine.
ML/NJ
Never got the first one either, my pay 3 years ago was over the limit although I am about at 25% of that now my first year on social security.
This should be going to anyone who had reportable income and had to pay taxes.
Are you on social security ? Just what type of account did you get it in ?
i.r.s. linked one ?
However, I might add that two of my cats may have got $600, as I just saw them trying to order food at chewy.com.
Coincidence? I think not.
I’m glad you got your stimulus check. Prepare yourself for a lot of stupid replies.
I declared myself a Pakistani transgender illegal alien and got $6,000! Thanks Nancy and lindsey!
Now get back to work!
Not yet. If they are going alphabetically by FR name, it should come soon.
“Define rich by income bracket.”
Why? Income bracket isn’t the definition. The GOP says if you make over $99k you’re too rich.
Your taxes went up $2000 so they could send you a check for $600.
“Exactly. And we don’t even get so much as a “thank you” for paying for it.”
We’ve deregistered to vote. The GOP no longer represents us and our votes are stolen anyway. Voting is a farce. I know many “rich” who are doing the same thing.
That’s about a thousand rounds of 9mm. If you can find some easily. See some “australian outback” made 556 for $609 for 900 rds. Cash in some cans to make up the difference. Or trade a bottle of Jack.
I agree, I would have been even more appalled if I did get a “stimulus” check. But why should people on a “fixed income” get a stimulus check? Why should any government employee at any level get a stimulus check?
I have to look now and see if my granddaughter’s hamster got his check.
Once the debt hits the treasury reporting the US Debt Clock guys update it. It might take an entire quarter for that to happen.
We are now over $30 trillion in debt.
The markets are also bracing for major inflation. Inflation right now is being reported at 6% but this spending signals more debt to come and more inflation.
