The term is universally misused. If they don't want to use the correct term, "Democrat party", it should be spelled as "the Democrat-ick party."

Actually, it was Rush Limbaugh - decades ago - who successfully re-labeled the Democratic Party as the “Democrat Party”. He did it to get under their craw .. which he did most exquisitely.
